Welcome. I know reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. My goal is to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences at your own pace. I work with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. As a social worker therapist grounded in mindfulness theory, my dream client embodies a spirit of openness and motivation for change. This individual recognizes the challenges that come with personal growth but approaches therapy with a willingness to explore and confront these difficulties. They appreciate the journey of self-discovery and are eager to gain insights that can lead to meaningful transformation in their life. In our sessions, I envision a collaborative environment where they feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions. They understand that progress may not always be linear, yet they remain committed to the process. This client values the therapeutic relationship and seeks guidance to cultivate greater self-awareness, resilience, and mindfulness in their daily life. What I cherish most about this ideal client is their ability to reflect on their experiences and actively engage in their healing journey. They inspire me with their courage to face discomfort and their desire to learn and grow. Together, we would explore various mindfulness practices and therapeutic techniques, fostering a deep connection that empowers them to embrace change with compassion and patience. Ultimately, my dream client is someone who is not only motivated to seek help but also appreciates the support and insight I can offer. In this partnership, we would work hand in hand to navigate the complexities of their experiences, celebrating each step toward a more fulfilled and mindful existence. This collaborative spirit of growth and understanding is what makes the therapeutic journey profoundly rewarding for both of us.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQI+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Maybe your mind feels like it never shuts off—overthinking, worrying, or constantly feeling on edge. Or maybe it’s the opposite... feeling low, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself in a way that’s hard to explain. Some days feel heavy, and even simple things take more effort than they used to. You may also be carrying grief—whether from a loss, a life change, or something that didn’t turn out the way you hoped. At the same time, work stress or burnout might be adding another layer, leaving you feeling emotionally drained and stretched thin. I primarily work with women who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and the impact of past experiences. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break.

As a Psychotherapist, I believe that everyone already has the tools they need to be their most productive and successful self. Sometimes people just need the support and encouragement from an outside source to reach their personal "happy place". Every patient has a right to Self-Determination and Self-Awareness. Psychotherapy can help develop insight, coping mechanisms, and social skills to help us build stronger relationships.
