New to Grow
Hi, I’m Ashley, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. I provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients can feel heard while also gaining practical tools for change. My goal is to help clients build insight, confidence, healthier coping skills, and stronger relationships so they can feel more balanced and empowered in their daily lives.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share everything right away, we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also answer any questions you have about therapy and discuss goals so we can create a plan together.
My greatest strengths are creating a warm and safe environment while also helping clients make meaningful progress. I balance empathy with practical strategies, so clients feel supported while learning tools they can use outside of sessions. I am especially skilled in helping clients improve communication, manage anxiety, navigate difficult relationships, and build healthier patterns. I strive to meet each client where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs and goals.
I work well with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and family conflict. I especially enjoy supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and want practical tools alongside a warm, supportive space to process what they’re going through. I also enjoy working with couples who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, and create healthier relationship patterns.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional triggers, and behaviors that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship difficulties. In sessions, I work collaboratively with clients to build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and develop healthier ways of responding to challenges. My approach is supportive, personalized, and goal-oriented, helping clients create meaningful change both in and outside of therapy.
