As a Psychotherapist, I believe that everyone already has the tools they need to be their most productive and successful self. Sometimes people just need the support and encouragement from an outside source to reach their personal "happy place". Every patient has a right to Self-Determination and Self-Awareness. Psychotherapy can help develop insight, coping mechanisms, and social skills to help us build stronger relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My Approach is realistic, warm, and knowledgable; as well as interactive. I believe in meeting my patients where they are and giving them the unique tools to realize what is best for their situation. I am positive that you will get exactly what you need from my sessions as they will be more than safe and accepting.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes me unique is that I have 9 years experience working with children and families who have suffered the effects of trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, unhealthy family dynamics, and overall poor coping skills. I specialize in focus areas such as, including but not limited to, teenage conflict, ADHD, Depression, childhood trauma, anxiety, and infidelity. I have over 13 years of experience helping adults, adolescents, and families in crisis. I am licensed in both NY and NJ and hold multiple certifications such as Child and Family Therapy and Advanced Assessment and Diagnosis from NYU.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I currently utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and challenge dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors allowing them to change negative patterns.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Helping a client to accept a particular emotion rather than avoiding it and showing them how to ground themselves in the present is a very powerful tool.
