Welcome. I know reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. My goal is to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences at your own pace. I work with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. Many of my clients are people who have spent years caring for others while neglecting their own needs and are now ready to begin prioritizing their healing and personal growth. My approach is integrative and personalized because I believe every person’s story and healing journey is unique. I incorporate supportive therapy, trauma-focused care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. Together, we will work to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, process painful experiences with care and intention, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with your strengths and sense of self. I believe healing happens not only through insight, but also through feeling empowered, supported, and genuinely accepted. Whether you are navigating a difficult season of life or seeking deeper self-understanding and growth, I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and balance.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, my priority is creating a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. I understand that beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar or even intimidating, so I approach our first meeting with warmth, compassion, and curiosity rather than judgment or pressure. In our initial session, I will spend time getting to know you, your concerns, your personal history, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We may explore your current challenges, emotional experiences, relationships, family background, coping patterns, strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve through therapy. You are welcome to share at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. I also use the first session to better understand how your past experiences, stressors, or life transitions may be impacting your emotional well-being in the present. Together, we will begin identifying patterns, concerns, and areas where you would like support, healing, or change. My approach is collaborative, meaning therapy is not something done “to” you, but rather a process we work through together. I may ask thoughtful questions, offer reflections, and begin discussing possible therapeutic approaches that may best support your needs, including supportive therapy, trauma-focused work, CBT, mindfulness, or narrative therapy techniques. Most importantly, I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the therapeutic process. Building trust and emotional safety is an important foundation of our work together, and I encourage open communication about your comfort level, questions, or concerns throughout the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that I view therapy as both a healing relationship and a collaborative process of growth, insight, and transformation. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and accepted without judgment. I understand that every individual’s experiences, identity, and healing journey are unique, so I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. My work is integrative, meaning I thoughtfully combine supportive therapy, trauma-focused care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy based on each client’s specific needs and goals. I balance practical coping strategies with deeper emotional exploration to help clients not only manage symptoms, but also understand the underlying patterns, experiences, and beliefs contributing to their struggles. I place strong emphasis on helping clients increase self-awareness, build emotional resilience, improve boundaries, strengthen self-worth, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I also help clients recognize how past experiences, trauma, family dynamics, or internalized messages may continue to influence their present emotional and relational patterns. One of the things clients often appreciate about my approach is that I meet them with warmth, empathy, honesty, and authenticity while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel both supported and empowered. The results I hope clients experience include greater emotional clarity, healthier coping skills, improved self-confidence, stronger relationships, increased emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of peace, balance, and self-understanding. My goal is to help clients move from simply surviving to feeling more grounded, empowered, and connected to themselves and the life they want to create.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are seeking deeper emotional healing, greater self-understanding, and meaningful personal growth. They may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity concerns, or the emotional impact of difficult family dynamics. Many are people who have spent years caring for others while neglecting their own emotional needs and are now ready to prioritize their healing and well-being. I work especially well with clients who want a supportive and reflective therapeutic space where they can process past experiences, understand unhealthy patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to themselves and others. My ideal clients are often insightful, emotionally aware, or spiritually curious individuals who desire more than symptom relief—they want lasting transformation, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of identity and purpose. Many of my clients may struggle with boundaries, self-worth, people-pleasing, emotional regulation, trauma responses, or navigating complex relationships. They may be looking for a therapist who is compassionate, collaborative, culturally sensitive, and able to integrate practical coping strategies with deeper emotional exploration. Through an integrative approach that combines supportive therapy, trauma-focused care, CBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy, I help clients feel empowered to heal from past wounds, challenge limiting beliefs, reconnect with their strengths, and create healthier, more authentic lives.

My treatment methods

Supportive

My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I draw from supportive therapy, trauma-focused interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and narrative therapy to help clients better understand themselves, heal emotional wounds, and create meaningful change. Using a supportive and compassionate approach, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly process difficult emotions, life transitions, relationship struggles, and personal challenges. I believe healing begins within a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, trust, and emotional safety. My trauma-focused work helps clients understand how past experiences may continue to affect their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system responses in the present. Together, we work to build emotional regulation, restore a sense of safety, and reduce the impact of traumatic experiences while moving at a pace that feels manageable and empowering. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional triggers, and behavioral cycles that may contribute to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or relational difficulties. Clients learn practical tools to challenge distorted thinking, develop healthier coping strategies, and create more balanced emotional responses. I also integrate mindfulness-based techniques to help clients become more present, grounded, and connected to themselves. Mindfulness supports increased self-awareness, emotional regulation, stress reduction, and the ability to respond to life with greater intention rather than reacting from overwhelm or past conditioning. Narrative therapy allows clients to explore the stories they have internalized about themselves and their lives. Together, we examine how experiences, family systems, culture, trauma, or societal expectations may have shaped these narratives. Clients are encouraged to reclaim their voice, recognize their strengths, and begin developing a more empowered and authentic understanding of themselves. Because every person’s experience is unique, I use an integrative approach that combines these modalities in ways that best support each client’s goals, strengths, identity, and stage of healing. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen emotional resilience, and move toward greater healing, clarity, and self-compassion.
