My name is Lee Maxwell; a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Maximum Wellness, LLC. I have lived and worked in Metro Atlanta for over two decades. I grew up in rural Georgia; born to older parents who instilled in me the value of connection with others and treating others as I would want to be treated. I gained my passion for working in Geriatrics from my mother, who, on most Sundays throughout my childhood, would take me along with her to visit a local nursing home. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Georgia Southern University; followed by a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from Savannah State University. I have been working in the field of mental health care for 25 years; 16 of which have been dedicated to providing psychotherapy services; primarily to a geriatric population. After working in senior living communities throughout the pandemic, I decided to afford myself the opportunity to work with a younger population; which I found to be refreshing and resulted in opening up my private practice to include services for all adults over the age of 18yo. I have been professionally licensed in the state of Georgia since 2009.

I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices that empower clients to better understand their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported as they explore difficult emotions and experiences. Together, we work to develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate healthier perspectives that support long-term well-being. My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well. I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia. I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

Hello, My name is Dr. Mark Pope. I have a Ph.D. in Psychology, and I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice for over 10 years. I've worked with a wide variety of clients treating issues such as general anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, depression, PTSD, OCD, as well as those family & relationship problems we encounter throughout our lives. Hello, and welcome to my site! I am Elena, a trilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Atlanta, Georgia, and have been practicing since 2013. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. For the past decade I worked with incarcerated teens (and on probation, or in community) helping them approach problematic behaviors and improve these by avoiding future incarcerations. I serve pre-teens/adolescents 12-17 years old, young adults ages 18-25, and adults up to 60 by assisting them solve problems they cannot readily solve themselves. During our sessions we address issues such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, trauma, relationships, and anger management, among many other issues that might led to delinquency. My specialty is treating individuals with difficulties effectively communicating their needs within their relationships with parents, siblings, relatives, friends, etc., with an emphasis on assertiveness training for building and nurturing long-lasting interpersonal relationships. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, so I like to tailor my approach to fit my client's unique needs. Here are a few of the clinical theories I use to guide my practice: Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Hi, I’m Keira, a therapist for women who are tired of overthinking, feeling stuck, and carrying everything on their own. You might be high-functioning in your day-to-day life, but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. Maybe you’ve tried to “figure it out” on your own, but keep running into the same patterns. I specialize in insight-oriented therapy—helping you understand not just what you’re feeling, but why. Together, we’ll look at the deeper patterns shaping your thoughts, relationships, and emotions so you can create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’ll help you see things from new angles, challenge what’s not working, and support you in building a stronger, more grounded sense of self. I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection and interested in understanding themselves on a deeper level. If you’re looking for a space to explore, gain insight, and make lasting changes, we’ll likely be a good fit.

I aim to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck, make room for difficult emotions, and practice being a little kinder to yourself along the way. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical—it can be thoughtful, engaging, and even relieving. Clients often describe me as both compassionate and direct. You don’t have to do this alone. I’d be honored to be on your team as we take it one step at a time.

Hi. I am a middle-aged married mother of one grown and one smaller child. Our next anniversary will be 12 years for us. We were both married before finding each other, so there is a history of blending families with children. I am a Christian and Jesus is the foundation of my life. "Through Christ, we can do all things." Philippians 4:13. I have my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience in private practice settings and working in a community service board (CSB). I have led anger management groups. I have worked with ages from childhood to the elderly. I have worked with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, family conflicts, relationship difficulties, traumas, abuse, bipolar disorder (manic episodes), suicidal ideations, personal growth (career, etc.), and spiritual development. Life can be quite challenging. Many times we are facing situations that we are not prepared for or have prior hurts that affect our ability to overcome. When we get into these places it is easy to feel stuck or even blind to what is really going on. It is easy to shut down and isolate out of fear of what others may think. I enjoy providing a safe, warm, and caring environment to help you pull down any walls or barriers so you can face the situation head-on. Many past clients have shared how I have helped them see things in a different light so they were able to rise above the challenges and grow during the process. "All things work together good for those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 You were created for a purpose and I want to help you discover what that is while helping you equip yourself better for it.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy should feel like a safe place to be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next, and you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. My work with adults focuses on helping clients navigate life transitions, relationships, women’s issues, domestic violence, substance use and recovery, chronic health challenges, stress, and the many changes that can come with different seasons of life. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents and helping young people develop the skills and confidence they need to manage their emotions and navigate challenges. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. You know your life better than anyone, and my role is to listen, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and provide practical tools and strategies that can help you move forward.
