Hi I am Suzie Amacker. I help people who struggle with anxiety and relationships to feel a lot less anxious. Are you always a little bit afraid that an anxiety attack is right around the corner? Have you been hit with surprise anxiety more times than you can count? I know exactly how you feeling, the pounding chest, the shortness of breath, the feeling that the walls are closing in on you. Attacks can be terrifying and I don't want you to suffer from them anymore. You have made a good choice in choosing to get help. Through therapy, I hope to provide a lasting life-changing experience which will result in you feeling stronger and more satisfied with yourself and your relationships. Holistic practices can reduce anxiety tremendously and I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back. It is important that your know you don't have to be alone in this journey. I specialize in helping clients feel better, improve functioning and improve the different relationships in their lives. I am results oriented with a kind and empathic, yet direct approach. If you are motivated and willing to work toward your goals, we can work together to get there.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
The feedback I get from clients is that they appreciate my accepting and warm approach. While they know I will be holding them accountable, they know that they can count on me to point out their blind spots with direct, honest observations. My best strengths are that I try to cut through the cutter to get to the root of the issues and work with them to find solutions in as short amount of time as possible. My clients often find themselves feeling more confident, more content, better able to manage stress and the unknown with improved decision making skills, a clearer sense of self and more joy.
Anxiety/Depression, self-esteem, life transitions, aging, personal growth and development. I love working with adults who are seeking a happier and more satisfying life and that are willing to put in the work.

She's fine. I thought she would have more commitments, but I'm good. I know I need to stay in therapy I want to be healthy mentally. I need my therapist to talk a little more. I think we will be fine.

She was very kind, and unbiased. My husband and I both enjoyed her and we look forward to working with her.
