Hi, I'm Megan! The first step is asking for help and recognizing that you can't do it all on your own. You're here, so you have taken that first step now please allow me to listen and help you to find your best self. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia and have been working in community mental health for the last 5+ years. I have met and worked with a variety of ages, backgrounds, and challenges in my time in the field. I enjoy working using a strengths based approach that helps my clients to identify their unique strengths and supports and how those can be utilized to overcome their challenges. I would be honored to meet and work with you toward your unique goals.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During our first session together we will spend some time getting to know one another, developing rapport, and reviewing your unique challenges that have brought you to seeking counseling. We will identify goals that you have for our time together and discuss what you can expect from me.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My biggest strength is the emphasis that I place on building rapport and being personable. I want my clients to feel heard and understood in a very real way. I am very patient and utilize a variety of interventions that are uniquely chosen based on my client's preference and needs.
