I provide counseling for children, teens, and young adults in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. My approach is strengths-based, developmentally appropriate, and sensitive to past experiences. In therapy, I help clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence so they can better manage stress, big emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change by giving clients practical tools they can use in real life. In addition to counseling, I offer comprehensive psychological evaluations to help families better understand concerns related to attention and focus (ADHD), autism, learning differences, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood challenges, and executive functioning skills such as organization and self-control. I am a counselor who believes that the therapeutic relationship is essential. From the moment I first meet a client I want to do everything in my power to help them feel comfortable. I acknowledge that counseling can be daunting - meeting a stranger and sharing the intimate details of one's life is frightening. I assure my clients that they are in a safe place and they can share as much or as little as they like. Regardless, they will be accepted unconditionally.

Over the last 8 years of working as a therapist, I've seen and experiencing everything. From children struggling in the schools, to woman struggling with everyday life problems, I've realized one thing that they have in common-hope. Hope is important when coming to therapy. You are hoping to feel better; you are hoping to come to become a new person. I want us to work on how we treat ourselves allows others to treat us in the same way. My goal as a therapist is to help you help yourself. As a Reality therapist, I focus on your current relationships and conflicts. This type of therapy doesn't really focus on the past unless it is trying to connect some sort of pattern of behavior. As a reality therapist, I see behaviors as choices and learning how to change those behaviors to have a better outcome so that one can FEEL real love for themselves and others! All the reality therapist I know are very honest, direct, and focus on you taking accountability for your actions. I pray for all of my clients for their love, joy, peace, be restored during this process of healing themselves. I am a faith-based therapist who believes GOD and therapy is important and using verses and stories from the Bible provide symbolism and revelation in the areas of anger, anxiety, depression, and more.

Move From Existing to Truly Living Are you ready to move beyond simply getting through each day and begin creating a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and aligned with who you are? Therapy is a collaborative process—a partnership that gives you the space to slow down, look beneath the surface, and explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we will work to identify what matters most to you and develop practical tools to help you move toward the life you want to live. I specialize in helping individuals navigate common roadblocks such as anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relationship challenges, and the difficulties that can arise during periods of change or transition. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Reality Therapy to create an individualized treatment experience based on your unique needs and goals. Our work will focus on developing greater psychological flexibility—the ability to make intentional choices, navigate difficult emotions and thoughts, and respond to life’s challenges without losing sight of what matters most to you. I offer a safe, transparent, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where you can show up authentically, feel heard, and explore what is possible. You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. You simply have to be willing to take the first step.

I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. " "The wound is where the light enters." - Jeladdin Rumi "A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once." Martin Luther King Jr. "Wouldn't take nothin' for my journey now." - Maya Angelou "The past is gone, and there is left only a blessing." - Kahlil Gibran "Be true to yourself, and you will be false to no one else." - William Shakespeare "How very lucky are we, for just a moment to be, part of life's eternal rhyme." Charlotte's Web, movie "Not all who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien
