Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
With depression, anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder, I have used Cognitive Behavior Therapy(CBT). I have had 25 years of experience with using this method of modality.Factors that I consider when looking at depression are: the type of depression, symptoms and severity, personal choices and willingness to commit to do the work. CBT allows you to process and react in healthy new ways.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
PTSD, depression, anxiety (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I have also used this method of modality for 25 years.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
With PTSD (Cognitive Processing Therapy) allows the client to address unhelpful thoughts regarding the trauma. It may help the client to gain a new understanding of the traumatic event that leads to fewer ongoing thoughts and symptoms.
