As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly a decade of clinical experience, I work primarily with women navigating identity, meaning, and the weight of roles they didn't fully choose: partner, parent, employee, caretaker. My approach draws on existential therapy, which asks not "what's wrong with you" but "what kind of life do you want to be responsible for building," alongside a feminist lens that names how gender, power, and social expectation shape the problems we bring into the room. Together, these frameworks help clients move from managing symptoms to reclaiming authorship over their own lives.

I didn’t become a therapist because I believed life should be perfect—I became a therapist because I know how complex, messy, and deeply human life can be. Over the years, I’ve sat with many people navigating anxiety, overwhelming life transitions, relationship struggles, and the quiet pressure to “hold it all together.” My goal in therapy is to create a space where you don’t have to do that alone. A space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and begin to make sense of what you’re carrying. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens when people feel truly seen and understood. I often work with adults who feel stretched between responsibilities, expectations, and their own emotional needs. I also have a special place in my heart for supporting women and mothers as they move through pregnancy, postpartum changes, and the many emotional layers of parenthood. In our work together, I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, while also focusing on practical tools that help regulate the nervous system and create meaningful change in everyday life. Therapy with me is collaborative—we work together to understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and help you move toward the life you want to build. I founded my practice with the intention of creating a space that feels warm, supportive, and human. A place where both clients and clinicians can feel safe to grow, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Outside of my work, I value time with my family, creativity, and designing environments that feel calm, comforting, and restorative—because I believe the spaces we create, both internally and externally, play an important role in healing.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor with over 30 years of experience helping children, adults, older adults, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, hope, and practical support. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in schools, hospice care, healthcare, and private practice. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of grief, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, chronic illness, emotional regulation, and the importance of healthy relationships. I also have a passion for supporting neurodivergent children and partnering with parents to better understand their child's unique strengths, challenges, and way of experiencing the world. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I believe lasting change begins when you feel safe, heard, and truly understood. Therapy should feel like a conversation, not something intimidating. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and help you move forward with confidence and renewed hope. I believe growth happens through connection, compassion, and understanding, and that even small steps can lead to meaningful change. I tailor therapy to each person's unique needs, using research-supported, evidence-based approaches that foster self-awareness, strengthen relationships, build healthy coping skills, and help you navigate life's challenges with resilience. If your relationship with God is an important part of your life, it will be welcomed and honored throughout the counseling process. We can thoughtfully integrate biblical principles, prayer, and research-supported, evidence-based therapy to support emotional, spiritual, and personal growth. Wherever you are in your journey, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward greater peace, resilience, and renewed purpose.

Hello, I am Fabiola Desire. Thank you for choosing me and you are in great hands! The reason I choose to be in this is field is that my Haitian grandmother taught to me to see the good in people and show compassion to others. I am a product of Haitian immigrant parents and saw the lack of mental health services in the community. I want to be able to get you through your life challenges. I have provided a safe place you to share the most sensitive moments in your life. Therapy can be difficult as we discussed vulnerable and sensitive events they may have happened in your life. However, seeking therapy can give you a sense of empowerment, freedom, and a place for you to heal and see things from a different perspective. I am here to be along with you during this journey. Clients have been able to share the most difficult events in their lives with me. I provide support, comfortable and safe place for you to share your life.

My work encompasses individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, manage or improve addictive behavior, emotional dysregulation and life transitions (including women's issues). My work is informed by formal training in EMDR as well as, traditional talk therapy with a strong foundation in CBT and DBT—but therapy with me isn’t about rigid techniques or worksheets for the sake of it. I focus on helping clients understand why patterns exist, not just how to manage symptoms. EMDR allows us to work at the root level and utilize the integration of traditional talk therapy with CBT and DBT. Cognitive and Dialectical behavioral therapies provide practical tools for navigating daily life such as, mindfulness practices and working to defeat cognitive distortions that impact our relationships. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, adapting the work to the person in front of me rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model. Clients often describe my style as direct, solution focused, collaborative, and grounded. The bond that is created between us is the most important, and I believe meaningful change happens when therapy feels both safe, person centered and honest—where insight leads to action, and healing is something we actively build together.

You look like you're holding it all together—but inside, you're exhausted. A comment, a change in tone, or a moment of silence can send your mind racing. You replay conversations, overanalyze everything, and hold everyone else together while quietly losing yourself. Hi, I'm Eva Chocron, LMFT. I specialize in helping anxious, high-functioning individuals who seem confident on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and stuck in painful relationship patterns on the inside. Maybe you've been told you're "too sensitive"—or you've just gotten very good at hiding it. I work with relationship anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, and unhealthy relationship patterns. Together, we'll help you stop second-guessing yourself, calm your nervous system, build boundaries without guilt, and strengthen emotional resilience. You don't want perfection anymore. You want peace. You want to trust yourself again. You want relationships where you can express your needs without feeling guilty, "too much," or afraid you'll push people away. You want to feel safe—not only in your relationships, but within yourself. I also work with couples navigating communication problems, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust after betrayal, and rebuilding intimacy—helping both partners feel heard, understood, and valued. I provide online therapy for anxiety, relationship issues, and couples across Florida and Virginia, in English and Spanish.

Greetings! I’m Letitia, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Georgia, and also licensed to provide therapy in Colorado and Florida. I’m passionate about helping clients discover their purpose, break through barriers that hold them back, and begin living the life they’ve always imagined. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 12 years as an educator, which gave me a deep understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges that young people face. Today, I work with clients ages 10 through 35, supporting them through the pivotal transitions of adolescence, young adulthood, and early professional life. I understand how it feels to struggle with fear, depression, anxiety, low confidence, or a lack of purpose — because I’ve been there myself. These personal experiences allow me to bring empathy, authenticity, and real-world perspective into every session. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals overcome depression, anxiety, ADHD, PMDD, phobias, PTSD, and trauma. I also work with clients coping with grief, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns, as well as those seeking clarity in college, career, and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is integrative, compassionate, and eclectic, blending evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Clients can expect a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative environment where we’ll uncover strengths, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop practical tools for emotional balance and growth. Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns. To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress. My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki. Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.

This helps me ensure that my approach is the right fit for your needs, that we can work together safely and effectively. The screening typically involves a short phone or video call (about 15–20 minutes) where I can learn about your needs, and you can ask any questions that you may have about my practice. Please contact me via Psychology Today to schedule a screening.

I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. " "The wound is where the light enters." - Jeladdin Rumi "A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once." Martin Luther King Jr. "Wouldn't take nothin' for my journey now." - Maya Angelou "The past is gone, and there is left only a blessing." - Kahlil Gibran "Be true to yourself, and you will be false to no one else." - William Shakespeare "How very lucky are we, for just a moment to be, part of life's eternal rhyme." Charlotte's Web, movie "Not all who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien

Hello! I am glad that you have decided to seek therapeutic services. Just a little about me, I work with young adults to mid-40's, who are navigating trauma, grief, PTSD, and major life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, lonely, or disconnected as they work through family divorce, peer stress, breakups, loss, cultural family differences, life transitions, or the uncertainty that can come with college, adulthood, or aging out of foster care. I help clients build support, process difficult experiences, and feel more grounded in themselves as they move through painful or uncertain seasons of life.

Hello. I’m Jamie and I’ve been a practicing therapist for many years. You may be recovering from addiction, childhood trauma, toxic relationships, or perhaps, all of these things! I know most people don't go through life untouched by trauma, anxiety, unhealthy habits or some kind of issue that deeply affects them. I also know life's problems do not come with troubleshooting instructions but I belive I know how to help people begin to effectively address them. Whether they were caused by genetic predisposition, environmental stress or undeterminable origins, my beliefs are: We can have a life worth living regardless of how it started. There is help worth seeking, and problems get better with wise counsel.

I am an LMHC therapist, public speaker, community organizer, social and environmental activist, and have been listening for decades. My Master of Clinical Psychotherapy, 2013 came from the University of North Florida. I experienced a Clinical Pastoral Education, in deep listening. I worked in the Talk program at Wounded the warriors talked; I listened. Trauma Supportive Therapy is used to safely address, as slowly as need be, the pain of the past that keeps coming to trip your defenses in the present at all the wrong moments. I can be that supporting presence who will help sort it out by listening, sincerely hearing you, reflecting the depth of your feelings back to you. I practice the therapy of defining personal meaning, so, together we will think about your options, planning, purpose, and goals for living a meaningful life without being afraid of tripping over your past or yourself. I practice person centered therapy by meeting you where you are. I strive to be culturally sensitive, non-prejudicial and use strength-based therapy as a jump point, truly believing I am the guide for you, but you are the treasures and wisdom keeper. Of all the reasons people come to therapy: anger, guilt, anxiety, changes, transitions, depression, trauma, jealousy, and “it is just not working anymore”, the extra burden of race and racism is more than just a nuance to be nodded at in therapy. I will view race as central to all the other pieces, when it is central to you. I am inclusive, secular, competent, affirming, and non-judgmental. I have worked with people in transition, people who are very much defined, “but things got complicated”, people in the communities of LGBTQA, Polyamory, Kink, non-gendered. Each are safe and welcome here.

I understand how early relationships shape the way we see ourselves and others. As someone who was adopted at birth and grew up navigating change and complex family dynamics, I developed a deep respect for each person’s story and how attachment wounds are formed and healed. In our work together, we create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. We move at a pace that honors your story while gently working toward meaningful change. I believe healing happens when we feel seen, understood, and supported — not rushed or judged.
