I have over four years of counseling individuals from various backgrounds. My experience includes working with potential clients in various settings (home, religious settings, community, and academic environments). I further have experience working with those that are in crisis or who are diagnosed with Depression, Bipolar etc. My nonjudgmental and accepting personality allows for the foundation for an effective therapeutic relationship. Additional Experience: Stress, Anxiety, Addictions, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Intimacy-related issues, Anger management, Career difficulties, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, Coaching, ADHD, Abandonment, Attachment Issues, R Clinical approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing Online counseling is fairly new and I've found it to be really effective for various issues. My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, encouraging, caring and compassionate with a good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to assist you in sorting through the things that are most difficult for you. I allow a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgement. I am happy that you have decided to take the first step by reaching out for help.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a clinician with integrity, confidence, great listening skills, observant and respectful.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about life or where they currently are, but have some hope therefore they are reaching out for more guidance in navigating life challenges.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God in which we find our way. As a Christian I look to the word of God for answers.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a core modality in my sessions to help clients explore how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Through CBT, we work together to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and develop practical tools that support healthier emotional responses and behavior changes. This structured, goal-oriented approach empowers clients to gain insight, build resilience, and experience meaningful progress in their mental health journey.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I integrate Solution-Focused Therapy into my practice to help clients identify their strengths, build on past successes, and move toward their goals with clarity and confidence. Rather than focusing heavily on problems, this approach emphasizes what is working and how to create more of it. In our sessions, I support clients in envisioning their desired future and taking small, practical steps to achieve meaningful change. Solution-Focused Therapy empowers individuals to recognize their inner resources and make positive, forward-focused progress.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients who have experienced trauma by combining the structure of CBT with a compassionate, safety-focused approach. This method helps clients gently explore the impact of trauma on their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while emphasizing emotional regulation, grounding, and self-compassion. In therapy, we work collaboratively to identify unhelpful beliefs, process trauma-related memories at a pace that feels safe, and develop coping skills that empower healing. My trauma-informed lens ensures that clients feel seen, supported, and in control throughout their healing journey.
