Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor- Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Tennessee. I received my Doctorate from the Amridge University and have been worked with individuals, couples, and families for almost 5 years. I help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma so that they can get to a place where they are they are able to achieve their life goals. I have developed a strong understanding of the importance of helping individuals to develop the tools, strategies, and resources needed to reach their life goals. I believe using a person-centered approach to aid individuals in achieving their physical, mental, and emotional wellness goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions in which you and I will spend some time connecting with each other. I want you to know they are in a safe and non-judgmental space. Next, we will discuss the particular issues that you as a client are dealing with currently. This will aid me developed a personalized plan for us to work through in subsequent sessions.

Having worked with many clients over the years, I have developed the ability to connect with clients as I take a person-centered approach with therapy. I strive to provide a space in which clients feel seen, heard, soothed, and safe.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to aid clients in working through cognitive blocks linked with anxiety and depression

Prolonged Exposure Therapy

I utilize prolonged exposure therapy to aid clients dealing with PSTD. I specialize in working with veterans and service members. As well as those that have been victims of DV.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I utilize EFT and EFIT to aid individuals, couples, and family in connecting with their core emotions and developing the vocabulary to express their thoughts and feelings in a constructive and healthy way.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I utilize IFS to aid clients dealing with depression, anxiety, and trauma to recognize and give voice to needs that are not being met.
