Life can get messy and we all need some help from time to time. Congrats on taking the first step! As a therapist, my goal is to explore emotional blocks to the life you want to create, while exploring coping strategies and creating attainable goals. I am deeply passionate about helping you navigate life's challenges and find healing. I am here to guide and support you on your unique path of growth and recovery!
You may be the person everyone else depends on. You're capable, responsible, and high-functioning. From the outside, it may seem like you're managing everything well—but internally, you're overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, constantly overthinking, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it "should."
Many of my clients are women who have spent years taking care of everyone else while slowly losing connection with themselves. They may be balancing demanding careers, motherhood, caregiving, relationships, or major life transitions while quietly carrying anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or self-doubt.
I specialize in helping women navigate anxiety, stress, burnout, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, depression, and chronic overwhelm. I also enjoy working with individuals adjusting to chronic illness, caregiver stress, and significant changes that affect their sense of identity.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe lasting change happens when we understand not only what we're experiencing, but why certain patterns developed in the first place. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, develop insight into those patterns, and build realistic strategies that help you create meaningful change outside of therapy—not just during our sessions.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you're used to being the one others rely on. My goal is to provide a space where you don't have to have everything figured out—a place where you can feel understood, challenged when appropriate, and supported as you reconnect with yourself and build the life you truly want.

Hello! I am a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor based out of Davenport, Florida doing virtual therapy. I have been practicing for 14 years working with men, women and couples. Clients that work with me feel empowered and supported yet are challenged during their therapy journey in order to create breakthroughs. As my clients go through their therapy journey, I believe its important that my clients feel like they are not alone.
Life gets complicated. Sometimes it’s anxiety that’s been building for years. Sometimes it’s grief, trauma, relationship stress, burnout, or a major life change that suddenly leaves you feeling like you’re barely keeping your head above water.
I work with adults who are tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns and want to understand why they keep happening. Together, we’ll figure out what’s underneath the anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, conflict, or emotional exhaustion—not just put a bandage on it.
My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I’ll absolutely validate what you’re going through, but I’m also going to help you connect the dots, challenge the patterns that aren’t serving you anymore, and build tools that actually fit your life.
Full transparency—I’ve personally navigated anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment challenges, PMDD, postpartum struggles, and more recently, perimenopause. These experiences deeply inform my work and allow me to meet clients with empathy, insight, and zero judgment.

Hi! My name is Noor. I am warm, empathic, perceptive, and wise. I have worked with a diverse range of clients for over half a decade, helping them each to find a pathway towards healing and wholeness. For each person, this has looked different, whether it's processing deep heartbreak, learning to forgive one's self or another, overcoming depression or anxiety, discovering one's core sense of worth, unearthing a buried sense of power, learning to say “No”, finding one's voice (again), upgrading to healthy coping mechanisms, healing from trauma (moderate or mild), or transcending self-sabotage. We each have our own afflictions and unique "cross to bear”, and I can help you feel less alone in holding yours. Specifically, I specialize in supporting clients struggling with worth, grief, belonging, feeling "othered", emptiness, assertiveness, relationship & communication challenges, religious or God wounds, spiritual bypass, burnout & soul weariness, managing chronic health issues, and inner child work. I attune to each client's individual needs and personalize my service to meet you exactly where you are. My approach is human and relational and feels inviting rather than clinical or formulaic. My orientation considers the whole mind-body-spirit connection as well as the emotions. Also, I carry a depathologizing lens. I do not see anyone as beyond repair or as a “lost cause”. I see all people as having access to inherent wellbeing and wholeness.

I am licensed in Florida with 10+ years of professional work experience in conflict resolution and mental health counseling. I believe that empowerment is an essential and powerful tool in the healing process. I approach the therapist-client relationship with an open heart and mind, building upon trust, collaboration, and empathy to produce positive, transformative outcomes. I seek to facilitate change by entering the client’s psychological world, utilizing a phenomenological lens; this allows me to focus on the lived experiences of each individual and the personal meaning behind their circumstances past, present, and future to determine the most effective therapeutic interventions. My holistic approach to psychotherapy focuses on the overall relationship between mind, body & spirit. I have experience in helping clients with LGBTQ+ related issues, relationship issues, life transitions, family conflicts, coping with grief, coping with loss, motivation, and self esteem. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
After overcoming some of my own personal struggles by utilizing therapy, I began my career in mental health with a deep passion for helping people find healing and purpose through some of life’s most difficult moments. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to work with dually diagnosed populations, lead multidisciplinary teams, and implement quality assurance programs that elevate client care. Originally trained in both Environmental Sciences and Anthropology, my perspective as a therapist is grounded in curiosity, connection, and respect for each person’s unique story.

I look forward to partnering with you to tap into your existing strengths and skills, helping you overcome obstacles and move confidently toward growth and success.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families—adolescents and adults—on a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, parenting challenges, postpartum anxiety, trauma, abuse, and navigating life transitions.
Whether your concerns feel mild or overwhelming, therapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to identify the sources of stress in your life and to help you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
As a mental health professional, I believe that prioritizing emotional well-being is essential to living a fulfilling and balanced life. Seeking help takes courage, and I commend you for taking that step toward healing and growth. My work focuses on supporting adults and couples as they navigate challenges such as addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions.

Each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. We focus on helping you gain self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and calm. ***Now accepting new clients.
A lifelong student of human behavior, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Pychology in 1993, and a Master's of Counseling Psychology degree in 2004. Through the years I have studied areas like vagus nerve impact on health outcomes, trauma resolution, meditation and mindfulness practices and the effects of nature and sound on phisiology. I am an integrative practitioner, using a multi modal orientation to understand you as a complete being. I draw from Attachment theory, Family Systems theory and Adverse Childhood Experiences research to identify early life challenges. I find the Gottman method and Cognitive Behavioral Couples Therapy useful with many couples who want to attend sessions together, and more exploratory frameworks such as Humanistic and Transpersonal theories useful for solo growth and development.
In session I have a collaborative style that is informed by both intuition and 3 decades of studying various evidence based approaches. We will identify your strengths, your concerns, your interests and goals and then make a plan. After defining the areas of your life you wish to work on, I will accompany you on your path toward your highest and most healthy self as a guide and resource for support when it is growth oriented. We will stop where you choose to stop, whether it is with the immediate problem/s resolution or continuing into a more complex and transformational understanding of Self, and where that may lead you.
Hi I’m Lisa. I am a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in trauma. You may think you do not have trauma, but I have experience with working with all levels of trauma. I teach my clients cognitive techniques that can be used daily to shift those unhealthy patterns that have kept you stuck, allowing you to make small changes that can ripple into bigger changes, setting you free to live your best life possible.
I have made these changes in my own life and I would be honored to help you do the same.

Seeking therapy is a brave thing! You've already taken the first step. Let's work together.
I graduated Eastern Michigan University with a major in psychology and a minor in nutrition in 2007. I completed my PhD program at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2014. During that time period I worked with patients in outpatient and inpatient settings including the University psychology clinic, Wayne State Family Medicine Center, Providence Alaska Family Medicine Center, and Providence Alaska inpatient services.I’m a clinical psychologist (PhD) specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and the mind–body impact of stress. My approach is warm, relational, and psychodynamic — I help you understand not just what you’re feeling, but why it keeps happening.
Many of my clients come to me after trying short-term or skills-only therapy and not feeling truly understood. Together, we look at the deeper patterns shaped by past experiences, trauma, and relationships. This includes medical trauma, chronic illness, health anxiety, and eating issues rooted in shame or self-criticism.
I offer teletherapy to adults who want thoughtful, insight-oriented work that leads to lasting change.
My career started as a classroom teacher and school counselor. I currently have over 20 years of experience working with students and families. In addition to my school counseling career, I am a crisis clinician in a major hospital in the DFW metroplex and work in over 32 emergency rooms providing on-call patient care. We all face unexpected challenges which sometimes leave us feeling hopeless and powerless. I believe that we have the ability to make healthy and appropriate choices regardless of the circumstances in which we may find ourselves. My role as a therapist is to assist and support clients as they learn new ways of coping and adjusting to life’s challenges. Counseling will vary depending upon one’s personality, stage of life, strengths or particular concern. Getting started can feel overwhelming. You have no idea where to even begin. You’ve been putting off therapy because you’re afraid it won’t help. More than anything you’d like to be able to feel happy again. You’d like to be able to put yourself out there more and to create deeper, more meaningful relationships with others. You want to have the courage to be your authentic self without hiding behind a mask.

I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. "

I have been working in the mental health field since 2009 and completed my Master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2013. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals experiencing severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and bipolar disorder. My passion lies in helping youth and adults navigate life transitions and the emotional shifts that often accompany them.
I view therapy as a collaborative space to explore frustration, mood changes, low motivation, anger, and the many complex feelings that emerge during periods of change. My goal is to provide a supportive, grounded environment where clients can deepen insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward meaningful, sustainable growth.
My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. Also, every late cancellation or no-show accrues a late charge fee.
It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear that the client is no longer beneficent, services are no longer required, counseling no longer serves the client's needs and interests, or Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow the provision of further counseling services.
It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

Do you experience feelings of anxiety, stress, or trauma? Are these concerns impacting you at home, work, or other places?
Seeking therapy can be scary, however, you have made the right decision. I believe individuals are the "experts on themselves" and possess the ability to make the desired positive change in their lives.
In the session, we will utilize a Person Center Approach consisting of meeting the individual were they are, actively listening, providing support, encouragement, and validation, as well as utilizing Evidence -Based Treatment Modalities ( such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Person Centered Approach, and Psychoeducation) Supportive Therapy, Stress Management, and Anger Management.
Together, we will work collaboratively to treat the whole person and empower the person to find their way forward.
Hello, I am Shaqueena. Are you tired of being tired? Do you feel that no one understands your situation or that no one can relate? Are you unsure if therapy is right for you?
If you are here, then that means that you are ready and motivated to make some changes in your life. Seeking help can sometimes be tough, which is why I believe that we all experience things in our life that goes beyond our ability to cope and when that happens we need a little more assistance.
As a licensed professional counselor, my ultimate goal is to first normalize seeking assistance by decreasing the stigma on mental health. In doing so, my goal is to assist individuals in their healing process, to empower individuals to become the best version of themselves and to help individuals to see that life is completely what you make it.
My preference for treatment is to utilize a trauma-informed approach in addition to CBT, EMDR and Choice/Reality Therapy.
