Imagine a life where it wasn't a struggle to get out of bed. A life where you feel confident in your own skin. You trust and love yourself for who you are, not who others want you to be. Your relationships are working and you are capable of setting healthy boundaries. Right now, life may not look anything like that. You may feel depressed, anxious, worthless, lost, or even stuck. I'm Kendra, a Licensed Therapist, and I help women who struggle with boundary setting, self-love and relationship issues. If you're a woman struggling with self-esteem, difficulty establishing healthy boundaries within your relationships, or work-life balance, then you're in the right place. My virtual space is free of judgment for women like you. I provide a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach by integrating evidenced based treatment specific for your needs.
We’ll begin by exploring your story: what brought you to therapy, your current struggles, and your hopes for change. We’ll clarify your goals together, and I’ll ask a few assessment questions to understand how you experience anxiety, depression, relationships, and boundaries. Then, we’ll co-create a simple plan for therapy’s direction, such as what skills or strategies you might explore first. I’ll also introduce a coping tool you can use immediately, so you leave the session with something tangible, not just talk.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, person-centered therapy depending on the needs of the client. I also am trained in providing dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages from diverse populations. However, I found that I have developed a strong passion in helping women work toward becoming the best version of themselves. I help women who struggle with self esteem, boundary setting, confidence, relationship and dating, and life transitions.
Adults - women who struggle with setting boundaries, family issues, dating and relationship problems, self esteem issues, and coping with symptoms of depression and anxiety.
