Inspired by the many years of personal narratives, shared with me during bodywork sessions, I continued my journey into mental health. Healing of the whole person and overall well-being is central to my clinical practice. I love my work, helping you to discover, recover, and embrace your inner strengths, moving towards fulfillment and joy is a privilege. I invest daily in my skill set and bring into my work an incredibly strong desire to provide the best possible approaches. Those closest to me know me as an ardent mom, wife, and nana, a traveler, and an arts-inspired social equality-loving creator.

I am a LCSW practicing in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC since 2010. I have extensive experience as a Crisis Clinician in Emergency Departments, as an outpatient therapy provider, a Mobile Crisis Clinician, a Health Coach, and as an Employee Assistance Program therapist. I have always worked in some form of mental health assessment in my career. Most recently I spent 5 years in Grady’s Psychiatric ER. Allowing me to quickly assess needs and develop a life plan with the client. Couple work is also a skilled area for me. Especially when communication has broken down evidenced by constant arguing. Therapy can break couples out of the destructive tit-for-tat cycle. Broken trust, infidelity and unforgiveness are also areas I specialize in. Women’s concerns and issues are important to me. I’ve done extensive work in healing their “father wound”. Tapping the spiritual relationship for healing. Topics include relationships, self development and growth.
