I didn’t become a therapist because I believed life should be perfect—I became a therapist because I know how complex, messy, and deeply human life can be. Over the years, I’ve sat with many people navigating anxiety, overwhelming life transitions, relationship struggles, and the quiet pressure to “hold it all together.” My goal in therapy is to create a space where you don’t have to do that alone. A space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and begin to make sense of what you’re carrying. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens when people feel truly seen and understood. I often work with adults who feel stretched between responsibilities, expectations, and their own emotional needs. I also have a special place in my heart for supporting women and mothers as they move through pregnancy, postpartum changes, and the many emotional layers of parenthood. In our work together, I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, while also focusing on practical tools that help regulate the nervous system and create meaningful change in everyday life. Therapy with me is collaborative—we work together to understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and help you move toward the life you want to build. I founded my practice with the intention of creating a space that feels warm, supportive, and human. A place where both clients and clinicians can feel safe to grow, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Outside of my work, I value time with my family, creativity, and designing environments that feel calm, comforting, and restorative—because I believe the spaces we create, both internally and externally, play an important role in healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first therapy session is simply a chance for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There's no pressure to have all the answers or share everything at once—you can move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin your journey toward healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. I bring empathy, authenticity, and a calm presence to each session while balancing compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies. I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs, helping them gain insight, build effective coping skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes at a pace that feels right for them.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the pressure to keep everything together while putting their own needs last. I have a special passion for working with women and mothers navigating pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, and other significant life changes. They don't have to have everything figured out—they simply need to be willing to show up, be curious about themselves, and take small steps toward healing. Together, we create a compassionate, collaborative space where they can process what's weighing them down, develop practical tools, and build a life that feels more balanced, connected, and authentic.

My treatment methods

EMDR

When appropriate, I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into therapy to help clients process distressing experiences that may be contributing to anxiety, trauma, negative beliefs, or emotional distress. EMDR is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps the brain reprocess difficult memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming. Before beginning trauma processing, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and ensuring you feel safe and prepared. Every client's journey is different, and EMDR is always tailored to your individual needs and integrated into therapy at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.

Faith based therapy

For clients who desire it, I am happy to incorporate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process. Faith-based therapy is always guided by the client's personal beliefs and values and may include exploring how faith influences healing, resilience, relationships, and life's challenges. My role is never to impose my own beliefs, but to thoughtfully integrate spiritual perspectives alongside evidence-based therapeutic approaches in a way that feels authentic, respectful, and supportive of each client's goals.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach by helping clients recognize and build upon the resilience, abilities, and personal qualities they already possess. Rather than focusing solely on problems or symptoms, we identify what's working, celebrate progress, and use existing strengths as a foundation for growth. This approach empowers clients to develop confidence, navigate challenges more effectively, and create meaningful, lasting change while recognizing their own capacity for healing.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach by creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe each person is the expert on their own life, so therapy is a collaborative process guided by your unique goals, values, and pace. Through empathy, genuine connection, and unconditional positive regard, I help clients build self-awareness, strengthen self-acceptance, and develop the confidence to create meaningful change.
