New to Grow
I provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for individuals navigating life’s challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Mississippi and bring meaningful experience from both hospice care and hospital settings, where I have supported individuals and families through illness, grief, life transitions, and complex emotional concerns. I strive to create a safe, supportive space for healing and processing life’s challenges.
In our first session, we will take time to get to know one another and talk through what brings you to therapy. Together, we will begin exploring your concerns, your goals, and what support may be most helpful for you. My hope is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard, begin processing your experiences, and take the first steps toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
My therapy approach is grounded in creating a calm, supportive space where clients feel safe to show up as they are. I believe meaningful healing often requires time, patience, and room to process what may be difficult to put into words. I am comfortable holding space for silence, reflection, and the emotions that arise in the moment, allowing each client to move at a pace that feels respectful and supportive. Together, we will work toward greater insight, healing, and growth in a way that honors your unique story and needs.
I work with individuals who may be navigating life transitions, experiencing grief, managing stress, or working through important decisions. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, stuck, or simply in need of a safe place to process, therapy can offer space to slow down, reflect, and better understand yourself. Together, we may explore healthy boundaries, emotions, personal values, and meaningful ways to move forward. I welcome clients who are open to the therapeutic process and willing to take steps, at their own pace, toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.
Other specialties
I identify as
Supportive
During sessions, I may use supportive therapy by offering a calm, nonjudgmental space where clients can talk openly about what they are experiencing. This may include active listening, validation, encouragement, and helping clients feel less alone as they navigate stress, grief, life transitions, or difficult decisions.
Strength-Based
I may use a strengths-based approach by helping clients identify the resilience, values, coping skills, relationships, and inner resources they already carry. Rather than focusing only on what feels wrong or overwhelming, we may explore what has helped them get through difficult seasons before and how those strengths can support healing, decision-making, and growth moving forward.
Compassion Focused
I may use compassion-focused therapy by helping clients notice patterns of self-criticism, shame, or harsh inner dialogue and begin responding to themselves with greater kindness and understanding. In session, this may look like exploring how a client speaks to themselves during difficult moments and practicing a more compassionate, grounded response.
