Hello! My name is Myesha Suckra-Dorbu and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida. I received my Master's from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida and have been practicing for 4 years. I see clients 18 years old and older in person and via Telehealth. I help clients work through anxiety, depression, life transitions, Trauma, and Self-esteem issues.

As a clinical social worker, I use a strength-based and person-centered approach when working with clients. My expertise is treating anxiety, depression and OCD and I have experience working with clients seeking support for many other challenges as well. My clients include adults, families, and teens. I personalize each treatment plan and makes sure that I am working with the client, not just the diagnosis. My goal is to make clients feel empowered on their journey through their mental health challenges and other adversities. I am a strong proponent of building a therapeutic alliance with every client I work with - trust and mutual respect between myself and clients are essential. I like to make my sessions lively and come prepared each time we meet. Therapy is hard work but that doesn't mean it can't be fun as well!
