Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed Welcome, I’m Nubia. Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care. I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness. In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are. Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life. If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you. Let’s take the first step, together. Warmly, Nubia Anacius , MS,NBCC,LPC Licensed Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed in Florida and Minnesota). I specialize in working with women who are navigating life transitions and feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally off-balance. Many of the women I support aren’t in crisis—they’re adjusting to change, juggling multiple responsibilities, or noticing that the coping strategies that used to work no longer feel enough. They often come to therapy looking for clarity, validation, and practical tools to help them feel steadier and more confident in this current season of life. My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or emotionally overwhelming to be effective. Instead, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and gain insight into what’s contributing to your stress. Together, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional awareness, and finding realistic ways to reduce stress and improve day-to-day balance. I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor therapy to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Our work is often short-term and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on helping you feel better equipped to handle life’s transitions within a few months rather than engaging in long-term, intensive therapy. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers validation, gentle guidance, and practical support during a time of change, I’d be honored to support you.

I have over 45 years of experience as a practicing psychologist. My orientation is a strength based, solution focused cognitive behavioral therapy approach. Following a thorough assessment, my goal in our initial work together. is to identify in partnership with you an in-depth understanding of the issues that lead you to contact me. and to gain an understanding of how you have attempted to resolve these issues to date. In addition, we will ascertain what you see as your applicable strengths and abilities in prior comparable life situations. By the end of session one, our goal is to be able to agree on what solutions will look like for the issues that have led you to seek therapy. and to have a game plan as to how we will initially proceed. While I have worked with a wide range of clients over the years, the vast majority have had success in the various key areas (relationism, employment, family, peers, etc.) and they are now dealing with issues/problems / a crossroads, etc. where they are looking for some assistance as they navigate these current challenges

Hi my name is Amy, and I first want to acknowledge how difficult and scary it feels to begin the process of therapy, either for the first time or starting with a new therapist. I take very seriously the enormous strength that takes and I work very hard to ensure that you feel safe and heard as we begin the therapeutic relationship. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience providing counseling in both inpatient and outpatient centers. I received my Master’s degree in counseling in 2008, from Webster University. I had the privilege of working in an inpatient eating disorder facility for five years and have continued that work in outpatient settings. I am an ally to the LGBTQ community and it is important to me that clients find this a safe space. I have a passion for connecting with teenagers, college students and career women to build a safe place with an adult where they can voice their feelings and experiences without fear of judgement. I also especially enjoy working with young adult women as they navigate their way through the process of beginning adulthood. I have experience with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and general women’s issue. I am especially passionate about working with CPTSD and PTSD. I have received training and supervision in working with trauma as it is a highly specialized field. Trauma survivors need validation, belief, compassion and acceptance first and foremost before a trusting relationship can be established. I have working with women exiting a toxic relationship, having endured narcissistic abuse and/or infidelity (betrayal trauma) which is many times misunderstood by well-intentioned people. My approach is warm, compassionate and highly empathetic as I work to establish a safe environment for healing to take place.

Hello! My name is Jeremy Brown! Has it been difficult and tough sometimes to talk to others like family and friends? Do you feel like people around you are not listening or hearing you when you speak? Do you struggle with self-compassion and self-gratitude? Have you always turned to other means to cope when stressed such as alcohol or other substances? I help individuals who are struggling with all the above and work side by side with you to formulate a healthier way to communicate and get to the root of your problems. Hi, I’m Victoria Freeman, I’m really glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and I work with young adults, adults, and families who are tired of holding everything together. Many of the people I see are living with anxiety, depression, emotional burnout, or a quiet sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves somewhere along the way. If you’re used to being the strong one, the responsible one, the one who keeps going no matter what, therapy here is a place where you don’t have to do that. With me, you don’t have to perform. You don’t have to explain everything perfectly. You don’t have to pretend you’re okay. You can cry. You can sit in silence. You can struggle to find words. You can just be. There is no judgment here, only honesty, patience, and room to breathe.

I have had the opportunity to work in and gain knowledge from a diverse collection of settings that include elementary, middle and high school, hospital chaplaincy department, private practice and private agencies working with families in the child welfare system. Each of these settings has provided me with hands-on experience working with individuals and families in crisis, as well as those who are faced with navigating some of life’s challenges such as divorce, loss, and addiction. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I love a systems approach, understanding that we do not exist in a vacuum, but rather are part of larger systems. I take a non-judgmental, warm approach to therapy and I believe in tailoring my therapy towards my client's individual needs. Together we will establish goals and design a path towards a healthier way of being. I draw from a multitude of therapeutic techniques that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy. Clients who work with me have a desire to change. Whether facing everyday challenges that are holding them back from living a fulfilling life or struggling with family dynamics that have caused distress or trying to navigate through grief, my clients can learn to use their insight to find new ways of functioning that better serve what they want from this life. My clients can see a future for themselves that brings peace, happiness and healing. The first step towards seeking help is often the most difficult. I am excited that you are here and look forward to taking this journey alongside you.

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of judgment. I also believe that meaningful growth sometimes requires stepping outside of our comfort zones, challenging old patterns, and discovering strengths we may have forgotten we possess. My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative, with just the right amount of gentle challenge. I strive to create a comfortable, authentic environment where we can explore life's difficulties while also recognizing opportunities for growth and change. I won't simply sit back and nod along, but I also won't push you before you're ready. I believe in meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. One of my greatest professional passions is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am drawn to EMDR because of its ability to help individuals process painful experiences, work through trauma, and begin to loosen the grip that past experiences can have on their present lives. I believe that our experiences shape us, but they do not have to define us. EMDR offers an opportunity to move beyond simply understanding what has happened to us and toward experiencing meaningful emotional healing. I value humor when appropriate and honest conversations. Therapy can be hard work, but it doesn't always have to feel heavy. **Above all, I want you to know that you don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy.** You just have to be willing to start. I'll meet you there, and we'll work together to find a path forward.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate the challenges of substance use, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—approaches that support real change by combining empathy, skill-building, and a strong therapeutic alliance. With 9 years of clinical experience and lived experience with addiction and family trauma, I bring both professional knowledge and real-world understanding into the therapy room. Above all, I offer a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your struggle—you can just be real. And from that place, we work together to create the life you want to live.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals and couples build healthier, more connected relationships. Over the past 12 years, I’ve supported clients in breaking destructive patterns, improving communication, and creating relationships rooted in respect and understanding. I believe that when relationships struggle, it’s often because of conflicting expectations, unmet needs, or repeated behaviors that no longer serve us. My role is to help you recognize these patterns and choose new ways of communicating that create connection instead of conflict. I use a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, and spirit, helping you grow not just in your relationships, but as a whole person.

Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.
