To tell you a bit about my background, I am a licensed counselor in FL, MA, OR, and WA with over 10 years of experience working with a variety of populations as I have strived to assist clients on their journey toward hope, growth, and healing. I am also well-versed in providing teletherapy services throughout the FL area.

I am a Christian and Afro-Caribbean mom and forever learner. Psychology and healing deeply excite me. I dipped my toe into psychiatry for the first time as a high school student and am still furthering my education in clinical psychology today. I know there is a greater capacity for healing available to individuals who have always looked inward, fist-fought generational patterns, and still feel stuck in a world that says they need 15 more tasks completed by yesterday. I work to be a safe resting place for people who have moved from therapist to therapist, searching for someone who will truly see them for who they are rather than who the world has tried to mold them into. I desire to fill the Keturah-sized space in that wellness gap. I enjoy working side-by-side with clients to explore areas of possibility, rest, healing, and growth, and then provide the tools to make these things possible.

Hello, I'm Rachel, I have worked as a mental health therapist/counselor since 2014, (with additional experience during in-residency prior to graduation from May 2013-March 2014). I have provided therapeutic services to young children, teens, adults, families, and couples. I have provided services in a variety of settings such as: residential-inpatient, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and a maximum-security prison. I currently work with Veterans, some active duty, reserves, and national guard, primarily in the areas of combat and/or military sexual trauma. I have also worked with this population to help with readjusting to civilian life and other life stressors.
