Hi, my name is Kimberly Hutchinson.
My goal is to empower you. All of us feel down or overwhelmed at times in our lives, or maybe it even feels like more than that. I'm here to help. With a busy life, additional emotional support, a sense of direction, or help understanding current circumstances may make navigating life's challenges a little easier. By working together to clarify the difficulties or challenges, and then working through them, you can achieve therapeutic goals that enable you to obtain greater self-understanding and grow into a life with less anxiety and a better ability to withstand the stresses of the everyday world.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and I have more than 25 years of experience in the field of mental health. My approach to therapy is collaborative, which means we work together. I use evidence-based cognitive-behavioral and supportive approaches. Sometimes we may talk about the past, but the focus is on the present and helping you move forward.
My expertise includes anxiety, depression, domestic violence, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, adjustment, and stress management. I have specializations in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology (e.g., stroke, health problems), so I also work with individuals who have issues such as ADHD, Asperger's syndrome/autism, the effects of stroke or adjusting to a medical disorder. You can expect a collaborative, practical approach to therapy with achievable goals. I look forward to working with you!

Hi everyone! I'm Josh. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, self-worth, and social anxiety. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfulling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

Whether it is because of painful and difficult moments or relationships, behaviors that feel like they are out of your control, traumas that you've experienced, over time you have probably recorded some tapes that you play in your head that keep you feeling stuck. Hi---Susan here..
I know that finding a therapist you connect with can be a challenge.
Most people come to therapy because they are feeling frustrated and/or overwhelmed with anxiety about their life---that it isn't moving along in the way they would like. Developing a feeling of safety and trust is an important step in therapy. Listening attentively, I can help you get clearer about the issues that are bothering you so that you can make decisions about your life that you feel good about.
My current focuses are SoulTherapy and Life Transitions.
Life Transitions refers to any of the many transitions we all go through in life--from going to work or college, marriage, divorce, aging, loss.
Soul therapy is an approach where the focus is on you coming back to your true or authentic self where you feel expansive in your life with peace and joy.
Each client is unique and I focus on your concerns and desires through compassionate listening and curiosity.
Happy to have a 15-minute complementary phone conversation about your situation and see if we are a good fit.

The first half of my career was spent in two hospitals providing various services to the inpatient and outpatient population working on medical, surgical, ICU, Burn, and specialty services as well as inpatient physical rehabilitation, substance abuse, and psychiatric units. The second half of my career has included counseling in health clinics, in-home, primary and secondary schools, and the incarcerated populations. A unique experience that I have had that has been quite helpful in understanding controlling environments is related to my involvement in a religious cult as a young adult. The mind controlling environment that I experienced is structurally the same as is experienced in cult abuse, domestic violence, kidnapping, prisoner of war, and any hyper-controlling milieu which has afforded myself with a unique skill set to treat those so affected.

Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns.
To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress.
My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki.
Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida, Wisconsin and in Michigan. I have an Associates Degree in Computer Programming and have Master's Degrees in Social Work and in Interdisciplinary Studies. I love to learn and find that translates to learning about people as well. What do people find challenging? What brings them joy? Peace? Excitement? How can I help people recapture these positive states and sustain them?
I am also a credentialed minister. I find that many people struggle with how their faith and therapy intersect. By engaging in therapy are they denying their faith? Does it mean that they are lacking in belief if they utilize therapy services? I have the unique privilege of working with individuals from both the secular and the faith perspectives.

Hi! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Florida. I earned my Master's degree from Colorado State University, and have been practicing for 12 years. I help adolescents and adults who have a diagnosis of ADHD. Very often, ADHD can lead to symptoms of depression and anxiety when left untreated, so I help clients untangle these issues and move forward in their lives with clarity and hope.

We all have dealt with some type of family issue before. At times it can be hard to talk about, but sitting on it usually just makes things worse. My role in this process is to assist in delving into how these events have impacted you and how to move forward in future situations. Need to talk about trauma or issues with depression? Let's tackle this together and discover ways to overcome negative associations from the past.
I help adults struggling with symptoms of depression and family issues. I also assist with anxiety and have a trauma focused background. I primarily use the tools of compassion, mindfulness, and problem solving to offer new perspectives in dealing with instances of intergenerational trauma. In many cases, certain aspects unknowingly get repeated between parents and their children. This can be addressed through discussing your own understanding as well as opting to make changes for your future.

I have an extensive history of working with high-risk infants and young children and detained adolescents and young adults who present with trauma in addition to co-occurring disorders and a significant number of economic barriers. I believe parenting and family healing are vital to successful outcomes when working with young children and adolescents.
I have always worked in child welfare, so becoming a licensed mental health counselor was an easy transition. I have worked for several agencies, including the Department of Children and Families as well as other agencies aimed at child advocacy, child resilience, and child social-emotional protection. I am trained in infant mental health and nurturing parenting, and I am rostered in Florida to provide child-parent psychotherapy. I have years of experience working with parents to help them with bonding and attachment as well as helping their children achieve developmental milestones.
I am most excited that communities of color as well as the LGBTQ+ population are finally being heard and research is finally being directed toward a clearer understanding of how race and systemic systems have impacted the mental health of the marginalized.
