I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals find clarity, healing, and hope in the midst of life’s challenges. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in supporting women through some of life’s most significant transitions and challenges. I work particularly with seniors, postpartum mothers, and spiritually minded women who are searching for greater purpose, meaning, and direction. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since 1985 and have gained lots of wisdom from my own experiences of being a widow and caregiver, a cancer survivor, a mother and a spouse. It seems like in my profession, the older we therapists are, the more we are able to help.

You already have the tools and skills necessary to thrive in life, but these skills need to be identified and honed in order to be put to use and effective. My approach to psychotherapy is to focus on strengths and build resilience as we address problems of living. Life is hard and together we can be brave. My treatment approach is based in third wave behavioral therapies (mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy). My primary focus is holistic care, recognizing and treating the whole person.
I have spent over 15 years working as a mental health provider in the medical setting, dealing with life and death situations that affect my patients and their families. This work has allowed me to be present for the full range of human experience and recognize the strengths that each individual possesses. I have a background in philosophy, which informs my perspective on the challenges that people face and ways to resolve problems. In addition i have specialized experience working with LGBTI+ individuals.
I live in Phoenix and am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in CA, AZ, and VA.
My name is Jeffrey Yeom, and I'm a 1.5-generation Korean-American therapist. I believe one of our deepest human needs is to understand and to be understood. That's why I do this work: to help you realize you don't have to navigate life alone. My practice centers on decolonizing mental health, which means freeing you from values imposed by dominant culture so you can reconnect with what truly matters to you. I take time to learn your background, identity, and cultural world, then weave that understanding into rituals, traditions, and self-care practices that honor who you are. Together, we'll explore the emotions that point toward your truest values and gently rewrite patterns that no longer serve you. I work from an emotion-focused, attachment-based, and psychodynamic approach. In my sessions, I invite you to show up exactly as you are. We'll explore the relationships and experiences that have shaped you with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment. If you're looking for a space where your whole story can belong, I hope you reach out. Many of my clients carry stories shaped by migration, acculturation, or family expectations. You're not alone in navigating these.
Hi there, I'm Maria Teresa! I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Marriage and Family Therapist with 15 years of experience in treating individuals including adults and children. I help my clients identify the roots of their struggles in life and find strategies to make the changes they need.
If you feel down, fearful, feeling like all is falling apart; this may be the moment to meet and talk together about it. I am here; ready to listen and mindfully work with you to understand your needs.
You are brave and have the answers you need, but you may want help right now to “tune in” to those answers. Stress, overwhelm, and long-term patterns may be too much right now. Using a trauma-informed, client-centered and empathetic approach, I can help you confront and integrate painful experiences, addressing and healing the root along with the symptoms. I specialize in complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, relationship problems and the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and grief that can go along with these problems. I have been in the field of psychology either learning, researching, or providing services for almost 40 years. I have over a decade of experience providing trauma-informed educational services, mental/emotional health therapy, and grief counseling.

Hi, I am Boris. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have been practicing for the past 7 years. In your unique life journey, you have navigated a path full of diverse experiences, challenges, and triumphs. Your story is a testament to your resilience and the growth that has emerged from your personal adventures. Throughout your life, you have embraced the power of self-discovery, learning, and transformation. Your narrative highlights your individual strengths and the lessons you've gathered along the way, shaping the remarkable person you've become today. It is your story, and I am here to listen, support, and help you explore your aspirations, identify your goals, and work together to create a future chapter that aligns with your desires and values.
I specialize in treating high-level anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, infertility, and relationship difficulties. As your therapist, I tailor my approach to match the client's needs for continuous change, symptom relief, growth, and ignite personal change.
I always had a passion for therapy. I knew at 7 years old this was my calling. I went on to study Sociology in my undergraduate years and went to the University of California, Santa Barbara. I then went on to get my Master's degree in Psychology from J.F.K University and graduated in 2008. In addition to my Master’s degree, I have an added emphasis of Somatic Psychology which is: ‘the study of the mind/body interface, the relationship between our physical matter and our energy, the interaction of our body structures with our thoughts and actions’. I pull from a multitude of theories and coaching techniques.
Therapy can be long-term or goal-oriented with me. I find both have great advantages and I let the client guide me on that. I’m truly invested in our relationship and care deeply when working with clients.
I work in Private Practice and have been a Clinical Supervisor for a Non-profit in the Bay Area. I appreciate doing private practice since I can have a deep, meaningful relationship that can help empower my clients and foster change.
First of all, I am a father and grandfather. The rest can be summed up, quite aptly, from my 3rd personality test of a similar kind.
I am a “Healer.”
A Healer personality has a high moral standard, believing in treating everyone fairly, equally, and with dignity. The Healer is introspective, sensitive, compassionate, and empathetic - and very approachable.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (1992). I have been a supervising and practicing psychotherapist ever since. I have provided therapeutic services utilizing several different modalities with CBT being most utilized.
I’m a warm, grounded, and collaborative therapist who believes therapy should be built around the person—not the other way around. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationships, family challenges, pregnancy and parenthood, and times when you simply feel stuck.
My approach draws from person-centered therapy, CBT, and solution-focused work. I believe therapy can be both practical and deeper, learning tools to manage what’s happening now while also exploring the patterns and experiences underneath it. Some people need clear strategies and direction; others need space to slow down and process. Most of us need some combination of both.
You know yourself better than I ever could. My role is to bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, and support while we figure out together what will actually be helpful for you. I’ll meet you where you are, genuinely listen, and also challenge you when I think it could help you move forward.

I offer therapy using cognitive based interventions along with mindfulness strategies to manage mood symptoms and control negative thinking patterns. Hello, I am an LCSW with over 34 years of experience in mental health. I pride myself on tailoring therapy to the individual, couple, or family I am serving and their specific goals. I utilize a variety of modalities and philosophy's to provide services that meet the unique needs of those I serve. My many years of experience have taught me how to provide interventions for clients that result in long lasting changes and in my clients living more of a life that they want to be living.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by persistent self-doubt or caught in patterns of behavior that no
longer serve you? Do you find yourself struggling to connect past experiences with your current
challenges, leaving you feeling stuck or unfulfilled? I commend you for taking this courageous step toward enhancing your mental well-being. Embarking on therapy can evoke a mix of emotions—empowerment, uncertainty, even apprehension—and that's perfectly natural. With years of experience, I offer a grounded, compassionate approach to help you navigate life’s challenges.
For over 26 years, I have helped individuals and families navigate anxiety, depression, parenting, and life transitions. My career grew out of a lifelong gift for deep empathy and a passion for the mind-body connection. In 2005, recognizing a growing societal need, I established Health-E-Connections to help clients manage the unique strain that technology puts on modern relationships. I view holding space for your lived experiences as a profound honor. You don't have to face your challenges alone—let’s connect.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and furthered my education at Antioch University Los Angeles, where I obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I’ve had the privilege of working with different demographics in a range of therapeutic environments. I’ve worked with teens in the high school setting, with individuals struggling with substance abuse and eating disorders, as well as patients with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, trauma, toxic relationships, and co-dependency.
I generally combine the use of both humanistic and client-centered psychotherapy in my work. With that said, I tailor my services to each client and their clinical needs. While accompanying my clients on their journey of change and growth, I provide them with unconditional compassion and acceptance. My goal is to cultivate an authentic human connection with my clients by creating a safe and comfortable space to explore, promoting growth, and facilitating change.
If you are navigating a major life transition, constantly fighting a wave of anxiety, or feeling stuck in repetitive relationship patterns, you don't have to carry it alone. You deserve a space where you can let your guard down without fear of judgment. I provide a warm, lighthearted, and deeply collaborative environment where we work entirely at your pace. Because traditional talk therapy doesn't always reach the root of deep-seated stress or trauma, I integrate evidence-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches—including EMDR, CBT, and Brainspotting—to help you heal from the inside out.
Currently not accepting couples, fully accepting you! I work exclusively with adults in individual therapy.
If you’ve been stuck in the endless therapist scroll, trying to figure out who actually feels safe, relatable, and honest enough to open up to....... welcome!
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Iowa with an emphasis in mental health. This background allows me to approach your concerns with a holistic and informed perspective.
Many of the people I work with are carrying anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, identity exploration, burnout, anger, shame, grief, or the pressure of always having to “hold it together.” Some feel disconnected from themselves. Others are tired of surviving and want to start living more intentionally.
My approach is warm, grounded, direct, and deeply human. Therapy with me is not about analyzing you from a distance or pretending to have all the answers. It is a collaborative space where you can slow down, speak honestly, make sense of your experiences, and begin responding to yourself and your life differently.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I balance compassion with honesty. I will support you, challenge you when needed, and help you notice patterns that may no longer serve you without judgment or shame.
I work best with clients who are open to reflection, ready for meaningful change, and willing to engage in the process at their own pace. If you’re looking for a therapist who feels authentic, conversational, and intentional in the work, we may be a good fit.

Hello and Welcome!
I am a social worker who has been in the field for over 20 years. Early in my career, I was fortunate enough to work with a psychiatrist who believed there was more to treating mental health than medication. I participated in a training with him and I was transformed as a therapist. I was trained in the relaxation response and mindfulness meditation and using the body to help heal people who have had significant trauma and mental health challenges. From there, I went on to get my yoga teaching certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Since then, I have been helping children, adolescents and adults learn more about themselves and help them connect with the truest part of themselves. I believe my purpose is to help people learn to love themselves.
I lived in CA for a long time and still hold my LCSW license. I was fortunate enough to study with a number of teachers at Spirit Rock Meditation Center who have influenced my work. I blend a number of different frameworks into my practice including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, somatic psychotherapy and self-compassion.
I am mindful and respectful of all differences (racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, economic, gender, sexual orientation, ability etc.) and strive to understand each person within the context of their life history.
Every person who seeks treatment has unique needs and goals. I strive to work collaboratively with you to keep your goals at the center of our work together.
I stand in solidarity with the BIPOC community and all those impacted by systemic racism and oppression. I will uphold my own values and ethics and support all those who are speaking out against injustice of any kind. As a therapist, I am committed to creating a safe space for all.
Hello, I'm glad you are here. You have a ton of therapists to sort through in your search for support! There is no one way, humans have unique needs. Here's how I can help...
Do you feel easily triggered by people or events in your everyday life? Are you struggling to understand the root of intense emotions that emerge as a result? Ever wonder why you relate to people the way that you do? Is there a relationship in your life causing you discomfort? Would you like to know more about your inner world?
My name is Regina Walsvig, CA Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). I received my M.S. in Counseling and a B.S. in Child & Adolescent Development--both from California State University, Fullerton. I see all ages using individual, couple, family, or group psychotherapy.
I feel fortunate to be involved in conversations with people that generate their curiosity, depth of emotion, relief, and processing of uncharted territory. This therapeutic relationship offers new experiences that truly have the ability to harness one’s inner strength. I appreciate so much that therapy is a place that requires absolute authenticity from everyone involved— just you, as you are. No more, no less.
