As a therapist, my primary commitment is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment. Building trust is fundamental to the therapeutic process, and I approach each client with empathy, compassion, and genuine respect for their unique journey. I recognize that seeking therapy can be a courageous and vulnerable step and I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic alliance grounded in mutual respect, honesty, and confidentiality. Your well-being is my utmost priority, and I am here to support you.
During our first session, we will discuss what to expect from therapy as well as the limits of confidentiality and consent. We will then explore why you sought therapy and discuss your hopes and goals for therapy.
My greatest strength as a psychologist is to provide a safe and comfortable space for the patient to explore their emotions and experiences. I provide a non-judgemental space for you to work through your challenges.
If you're drawn to understanding yourself more deeply, seeking relief, and feel ready to face the challenging yet rewarding experience of self-reflection, we may be a wonderful fit. My practice specializes in trauma, including childhood trauma and sexual trauma, as well as supporting the military community (active duty and retired). I also specialize in supporting individuals navigating life with chronic pain who are seeking more than just symptom relief and a deeper sense of life satisfaction.
I am trained in CPT to help reduce PTSD symptoms. I provide a structured therapy approach that consists of up to 12 1-hour sessions. Homework is given each week to help reinforce learned tools.
I am certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, a chronic pain modality. I teach psychological techniques that retrain the brain to accurately interpret and respond to signals from the body, breaking the cycle of chronic pain.
Using a trauma lens, we explore and process past traumatic events and how they currently impact us. Through psychoeducation and the creation of a safe environment to explore vulnerabilities, we cultivate self-compassion and learn to transform our thoughts and behaviors more effectively.
I pull from many different modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative, and Psychodynamic and use the best suited interventions to tailor fit each person.

Becky is very understanding and is willing to address problems that other therapists don’t. She is warm and sensitive and focused on providing a plan for recovery.

She is just the best person to talk over what is holding you back in life and how to look at things from a different perspective. She gives you the freedom to let go of what is keeping you from healing.
