As a therapist, my primary commitment is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment. Building trust is fundamental to the therapeutic process, and I approach each client with empathy, compassion, and genuine respect for their unique journey. I recognize that seeking therapy can be a courageous and vulnerable step and I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic alliance grounded in mutual respect, honesty, and confidentiality. Your well-being is my utmost priority, and I am here to support you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I am trained in CPT to help reduce PTSD symptoms. I provide a structured therapy approach that consists of up to 12 1-hour sessions. Homework is given each week to help reinforce learned tools.

Somatic

I am certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, a chronic pain modality. I teach psychological techniques that retrain the brain to accurately interpret and respond to signals from the body, breaking the cycle of chronic pain.

Trauma Informed Care

Using a trauma lens, we explore and process past traumatic events and how they currently impact us. Through psychoeducation and the creation of a safe environment to explore vulnerabilities, we cultivate self-compassion and learn to transform our thoughts and behaviors more effectively.

Integrative

I pull from many different modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative, and Psychodynamic and use the best suited interventions to tailor fit each person.
