Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I have a Master's Degree from Hope International University and am working towards my Doctorate in Psychology. For the past 14 years, I have been helping clients work through the struggles that keep them feeling "stuck" in life. I help clients identify and fulfill their needs by making responsible choices and long-lasting, sustainable changes.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then go over the specific challenges you're facing as well as some of your history.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to create a safe space where clients can share freely and be themselves without fear of judgment. My goal is to see life through your eyes and focus on the issues that are important to you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help clients u to change unhelpful or unhealthy ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. I use practical self-help strategies that are designed to immediately improve your quality of life. It's been a successful treatment option for clients whose thought patterns are preventing them from reaching their goals or living the life they want to live.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing helps people make positive changes in their lives by increasing their motivation to change. It's based on the idea that there's a partnership between my client and me, and that the client's own motivations are important. This method helps clients make longlasting positive changes that are sustainable over the course of time.

Reality Therapy

Reality therapy is a form of CBT that focuses a lot more on the present and future than it does on the past. I have used this treatment method to help clients understand that behaviors are a choice. Regardless of how we think or feel, we have a choice on how to behave. Clients are encouraged to explore what they want their life and relationships to look like, and then actively work towards that by being accountable for the role they play.

Christian Counseling

I am always open to working with clients wish to explore their circumstances from a biblical or faith-based perspective. I do not incorporate this by default but am willing and able to do so at the client's request.
