Do you feel stuck, stressed, or disconnected from the people you love? Maybe past trauma, anxiety, or an addiction keeps pulling you back, or your relationship doesn't feel the way it used to. You don't have to figure it out alone. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California and Texas, and since 2015 I've helped couples and adults heal, reconnect, and move forward.
I help couples rebuild trust, improve communication, and restore intimacy, whether you're recovering from infidelity or slowly drifting apart. I draw on proven approaches like the Gottman Method.
Addiction and recovery. With 10 years in addiction treatment, including residential programs, I understand how hard it is to break free from substance use or compulsive sexual behavior. I can help you build lasting recovery while repairing your relationships.
Trauma, anxiety, and depression. If past trauma is holding you back, you can move toward a brighter future. I'm trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and CBT-I for insomnia.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate America and ran my own businesses, so I understand the stress of balancing career and family. I've been married to my best friend for 33 years, raised two children, and am now a grandfather.
I offer in-person sessions at my office in Agoura Hills, near Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Calabasas, and online therapy (telehealth) throughout California and Texas. [Call or email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.]

Hello. I am a licensed social worker in California. I began practicing in the mental health/behavioral health field in 2011. I originally was licensed in Maryland in 2015 but then returned to California in 2016. Since starting in the field, I have worked with individuals ranging in age from 4 years old to 75 years old; most experience working with individuals between the ages of 10 and 35. I have experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, depression, anxiety, parenting problems, and relationship issues. I am an ally of the LGBTQI community and can provide a safe, telehealth space for them.
Unfortunately, at this time, I cannot accommodate individuals seeking letters for emotional support animals or those mandated by the court or legal system for therapy.
With that said, my goal in being a counselor, is to assist my clients in meeting their identified treatment needs. I am flexible and willing to do whatever I need to do to assist you and help you in any way that I can.
If when viewing my profile, you feel as though I am a good fit, but my schedule does not meet your scheduling needs, please feel free to send me a message as I may be able to fit you in at a different time. I work evenings and weekends.
I provide a safe place to explore and deal with difficult, ongoing, and often painful issues, using over twenty years of experience. I offer a simple and gentle approach that avoids re-traumatizing while working on understanding and discharging old traumas and stress. My trauma-informed, holistic approach includes somatic, emotional, and cognitive processing and integration. Healing is a double-sided process, working through healing the past while building and reinforcing your present sense of Self and interacting more successfully in your life. I am a trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and practice Psychotherapy with multiple adjunct therapies to integrate mind and body with Somatic Experiencing (SE) and other Evidence Based Therapies such as EMDR, Life Goals, Whole Health, Movement Therapy, and more.

Hi my name is Michael and I am very excited to be a part of your Therapy journey! I have a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and I have worked in several treatment facilities including a Nonprofit Women and family health center, an Addiction treatment facility, and a Digital health center for children and families. Across my years in the mental health field, I’ve learned that codependency, attachment wounds, and identity-shifting survival patterns don’t just affect our thoughts — they shape our nervous system, our relationships, and the way we move through the world. Healing isn’t just psychological; it’s emotional, somatic, and deeply spiritual.
My work integrates all three. I help individuals understand the parts of themselves that learned to over-function, people-please, or over-attach for safety, and guide them toward a life led by inner alignment, self-trust, and grounded confidence rather than fear.
I'm a clinical therapist experienced with working with individuals, couples, families and children, who've faced challenging situations, such as domestic violence or family separation. My focus is on creating a safe, empathetic space where clients can explore their strengths, heal, and grow. I use a humanistic approach, meaning I’m here to support you without judgment, helping you connect with your own goals and resilience as we work together toward positive change.
I’ve had the honor of working closely with children, families, and individuals healing from various forms of trauma and impacts of mental health from a cultural lens. Along the way, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the many different ways family life can shape us, sometimes in unexpected or challenging ways. I’ve worked in a variety of roles and settings, as a Director, Clinical Supervisor, across government agencies, to private and mental health centers, which has helped me see each person’s story from many angles.
My approach is compassionate yet direct, down-to-earth, and tailored to you. Whether you’re looking for support for yourself, your family, or your relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you with kindness and respect. Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

Hello,
I am a woman, mother, wife, daughter, aunt, and soon-to-be grandmother. The path to achieving my goal of becoming a Clinical Psychologist - Marriage and Family Therapist began when I had my sons. I took all the steps to build my career, beginning with attending a community college, LACC, where I earned an Associate Degree in Child Development, then a Bachelor's in Psychology, and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. My interest and curiosity led me to a passionate career journey of helping people in different settings, with different upbringings and diverse family backgrounds, since 2010. I am bilingual; Spanish is my first language.
I am an empathetic therapist with a passion for creating a safe space where clients feel heard, seen, and supported. I am passionate about helping others find healing and growth in their lives and relationships. I have experience guiding clients toward greater self-awareness and self-empowerment as they overcome life’s challenges. I also help clients develop practical skills to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma while building resilience and confidence. Through clinical experience, compassion, and a collaborative approach, I am committed to supporting those who are ready to make meaningful, positive changes in their lives.
I am honored to be on this journey with you in therapy. I am a therapist who believes that healing begins with feeling seen, safe, and understood. My approach is gentle, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity--never judgment. I create a space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what's been heavy at your own pace. Whether you're navigating past trauma, burnout, or a season of change, my goal is to help you reconnect with your sense of self and feel more at peace within. In our work together, you'll find warmth, understanding, and a space that honors your story.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re not totally sure what to say or where to begin. My job is to make that part easier.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, low motivation, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some clients come in with something specific going on, while others just know something feels off and want to figure it out. Both are completely welcome here.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes—not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting—we’ll figure that out together.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I’d be glad to work with you.
I believe healing is hidden in the stories we share. I'm Anthony Garcia, LMFT, a trauma-focused therapist trained in EMDR who helps adults navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, and life's most challenging transitions. By helping clients explore the experiences that shaped them and uncover the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, I help them find relief from emotional distress and begin writing a new chapter grounded in resilience, meaning, and hope.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in working with adolescents and the adult population, with over 11 years of direct experience conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing, coordinating and teaching groups, and individual psychotherapy. I'm trained and highly skilled in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I want to help others take charge of their lives, and live it out effectively. Hello. I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience. Reaching out for treatment can be a difficult task. My approach is to meet you where you are, focus on your needs, and work with you to get to where you want to be in the future. I offer skills for coping or if you are seeking change.
I approach life with curiosity and a sense of purpose. I have worked in the mental health field for the last 8 years from nonprofit organizations, outpatient substance abuse facilities, crisis on call agencies and the judicial system. Prior to my experience as a marriage and family therapist, I was a stand up comic. I try to bring humor into the room whenever possible as I believe laughter is the best medicine.
I believe the main goal of therapy is to remove the obstacles and blockages that preclude us from being genuine. My approach is straightforward yet compassionate. As your therapist, I simply hold the mirror up and allow you to reveal the parts of yourself that have broken off over the years as a result of stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other unresolved issues. Together we mitigate the impact of maladaptive behaviors and search for answers that are more closely aligned with your goals. The answers to many of life’s problems are internal, but we have been conditioned otherwise. I have over 20 years’ experience treating mental health and addiction issues. I use a solution focus that incorporates a wide variety of modalities tapered to your needs. I treat many issues including family of origin, addiction, primary mental health, couples, trauma, and more. I am an EMDR trained therapist, and I help clients to process painful experiences that disrupt your life and well-being. I am hesitant to ascribe to any one therapeutic orientation. Everybody is different. I combine breathwork, meditation, ACT, CBT, as well existentialism and spirituality. I look forward to working with you on your path to wellness
