Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported without judgment. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, and the challenges that life can sometimes bring. My goal is to create a space where you can talk openly about what you’re going through and feel safe exploring your thoughts and feelings. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a person-centered style, which means we work together to better understand your experiences while also building practical tools to help you cope, grow, and move forward. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you as a person. I also have experience working with military members and veterans, and I recognize the unique experiences and stressors that can come with military life and transitions. I strive to offer a respectful and supportive environment where clients can process their experiences and work toward healing at their own pace. Above all, I believe everyone deserves a place where they feel heard, valued, and supported as they work toward a life that feels more balanced and meaningful.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there is no pressure to have everything figured out right away. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what challenges you may be facing, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I may ask some questions to better understand your background, current stressors, and strengths so we can begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. The first session is really about starting the conversation and building a sense of comfort and trust. Together, we’ll begin to explore how therapy can support you and what the path forward might look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves. I strive to listen with empathy, without judgment, and to meet each person where they are. I believe that feeling truly heard and understood is an important part of the healing process. I also focus on helping clients build practical tools they can use in their everyday lives. While we spend time understanding your experiences and emotions, we also work together to develop coping strategies and skills that support long-term growth and well-being. Clients often appreciate my calm, supportive approach and my commitment to working collaboratively. I believe therapy is a partnership, and my goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward the life you want.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support clients who are navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I work especially well with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in unhelpful patterns and are seeking support, insight, and practical tools for change. My ideal clients are often motivated to better understand themselves, improve emotional regulation, strengthen boundaries, enhance communication, and develop healthier ways of coping as they move toward healing and personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and work on developing healthier ways of thinking, responding, and coping. I approach CBT in a collaborative and supportive way, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs and goals. I often incorporate CBT to help clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related symptoms, and challenges with emotional regulation, while building practical skills they can use outside of sessions.
