New to Grow
I am a San Diego local. Outside of work, I enjoy going to stand-up comedy shows, trying new foods, and traveling. I value family, autonomy, and maintaining meaningful connections. My practice is collaborative, supportive, and client-centered designed to help you live life on your own terms. Together, we take an analytical and holistic look at your world to find patterns, create balance, and empower your growth.
The first session is all about getting to know each other and reviewing logistics. It's meant to be a safe space where you can share what's bringing you to therapy. I'll introduce myself, explain my style, go over what to expect, and discuss confidentiality and policies. My goal is for you to feel respected and comfortable sharing whatever's on your mind.
My approach to therapy is what’s called integrative, which basically means I draw from different evidence-based methods to best support each person. I focus on the here and now and how you’re functioning today, while also exploring your past. I like to understand each person as a whole, not just one part of them.
My ideal clients are adults and older adults who are motivated to process their experiences, open to learning, and ready to do good for themselves. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, attachment problems, or negative thinking patterns. Whether they are struggling within their family, at work, or within themselves, I support individuals who want to uncover their inner strength, change stuck patterns, and actively redefine their own personal happiness. I welcome anyone who is simply curious, wanting to see if therapy is a good fit, or ready to dive deep. We will go at your own pace.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach to CBT begins with getting to know clients holistically and understanding their unique needs and goals. I work collaboratively with them to identify unhelpful thought and behavior patterns and provide practical CBT exercises and skills that they can practice in their daily lives to support positive change.
Attachment-based
My attachment-based work involves helping clients explore their relationship experiences and patterns through guided discussion and reflection. I provide education about attachment dynamics and offer exercises that promote self-awareness, emotional understanding, and the development of more secure ways of relating to themselves and others.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
For clients seeking support with a short-term goal, I work collaboratively to understand their needs, define clear objectives, and develop an actionable plan with realistic steps to help them achieve meaningful progress.
Humanistic
My humanistic approach centers on building a genuine therapeutic relationship and providing a safe space for self-exploration. I support clients in gaining insight, recognizing their strengths, and making meaningful changes that align with their values and goals.
Psychodynamic
While psychodynamic therapy provides a foundation for understanding deeper emotional and relational patterns, I take an integrative approach and draw from other evidence-based modalities when beneficial. This allows us to combine insight, skill-building, and practical strategies in a way that best supports your goals.
