I am amazing. so amazing! i have life experience and work experience that i bring to the table. Would you like fries with that? If you don't like that, we can get you dessert instead. My mom always said, "dessert first". She also taught me that taking a chance on a person can change a life and alter the course towards amazing. I am amazing because she took a chance on me.

I am a licensed MFT clinician in California with 6 years of eclectic psychotherapy work experience. I thrive on collaborating/working with clients to help them process and manage stress, symptoms of anxiety and depression, a distorted sense of self, trauma from individual/familial abuse as well as the systemic factors therein, schizophrenia spectrum challenges/symptoms, and personality disorders (e.g., antisocial personality disorder and borderline personality disorder). I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion while maintaining strong/healthy boundaries. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs as we work through what you desire to focus on. I have worked with a variety of clients in different mental health organizations and schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles County. I am comfortable and have experience working with trauma-related stress disorders, major depression, personality disorders (e.g., borderline personality), isolation/loneliness, suicidal thoughts, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders/symptoms. I treat both adults and older teens (18 and over) through individual psychotherapy. I believe in treating everyone with emotional sensitivity while maintaining strong clinical/ethical boundaries. However, gentle confrontations may be needed as a way to bring awareness to certain aspects of the work, though I am mostly collaborative in working with my client's areas of concern, which they want to focus on during sessions. I ask (Socratic) questions based on therapeutic timing and will provide evidence-based psychoeducation when needed, always moving the session with clinical intuition as the process unfolds.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with individuals and families navigating some of life’s most challenging moments—chronic illness, hospitalization, loss, and major life transitions. I’ve supported patients and families through grief, anxiety, depression, caregiving stress, and adjustment to new diagnoses, and I bring that same thoughtful approach to therapy. My name is Briana Henry, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) offering telehealth services across California. I bring over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, flexible, and rooted in evidence-based care. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to create a personalized experience for each client. These modalities allow me to combine practical skill-building, emotional exploration, and strengths-based problem solving in ways that meet the unique needs of the individual. Sessions may vary—sometimes focused on structured strategies and tools, other times centered on reflection, processing, and validation—depending on what best supports growth in that moment. While I have extensive experience across the lifespan, my primary focus is supporting adults navigating life’s challenges. I frequently work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, caregiver stress, postpartum transitions, or chronic illness. Many arrive in therapy feeling stuck, depleted, or uncertain about their next steps. My role is to provide both tools and a safe, collaborative space where they can regain clarity, resilience, and balance. In addition to my adult work, I also continue to serve children and adolescents when needed. Much of my earlier career was dedicated to supporting youth, and I find it meaningful to walk alongside young people as they navigate emotional, social, and academic challenges. I work with children adjusting to transitions, anxiety, depression, or trauma, as well as teens facing peer difficulties, self-esteem concerns, or identity development. I also actively involve parents and caregivers, offering strategies that strengthen the family system and empower parents to respond with confidence.

Hello! I’m Brenda De Monge, a passionate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 21 years of experience in community mental health. Helping and supporting youth, parents, & individuals from various cultures & socio-economic backgrounds affected by trauma. When working with trauma, sexual, physical, emotional, and domestic violence, my number one priority is safety & meeting my clients where they are, by supporting them & reaching their goals. I use these treatment methods: • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my practice, I have used CBT to help clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. CBT is effective in understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. We can implement this in therapy to help you live a less anxious and stressful life. • Trauma-Focused CBT is a short-term therapy designed for children ages 3-18 who have experienced various types of traumas, including physical, emotional, & sexual abuse. When working with young children, the parents/caregivers are key, as they provide ongoing support. By attending sessions, parents will gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of the issues. Over the past 20 years, I have worked with families using this model, & it has been helpful to them. • Seeking Safety is a treatment approach I have used with clients for more than 15 years. It assists individuals dealing with trauma & addiction by emphasizing safety and coping skills. • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has proven to be a helpful approach in easing obsessive thoughts, reducing intrusive memories, & empowering clients to stay calm while learning ways to handle future challenges and symptoms. Since 2019, I’ve supported children, teens, & adults in managing their post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, & panic disorder through EMDR. In addition, I’ve helped clients with war-related trauma & child sexual assault.
