My therapeutic strengths, methods, and results all revolve around my clients needs. I am dedicated to understanding each unique individual and their therapeutic and life goals. No two clients are alike and it is so important to really listen and hear what each individual saying and feeling, and how this ties into where they are in the present and where they want to be in the future.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I am a results oriented therapist who values a collaborative approach, emphasizing my client’s strengths and past successes to build solutions. I work together with my clients to define clear, achievable goals and identify steps toward those goals. When appropriate, my sessions are focused, efficient, and empowering for targeted and effective solutions to challenges that my clients are working through.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients reach their goals by focusing on values-based action and developing psychological flexibility. I help guide clients to accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than resist them, which reduces avoidance that blocks progress. Through mindulfness and committed action, I support clients in taking meaningful steps aligned with their core values.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I typically take a solution-focused, collaborative approach, which includes ACT, CBT, and motivational interviewing, to explore what is happening for each client, identify issues, and challenges and develop a custom treatment plan to help clients recover and build life-long skills to deal with life stressors.
