LCSW, 20 years of experience

I’m a therapist with over 20 years of experience, dedicated to helping adults heal from generational trauma and reconnect with their inner strength. My passion lies in empowering individuals to reclaim their sacredness and become the supportive, grounded presence they may have always needed in their lives. Through compassionate, intentional work, I help clients break cycles, build self-worth, and create meaningful change.
In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space where acknowledgment and validation are at the forefront. I understand that asking for help isn’t always easy, so I focus on normalizing the experience and removing any stigma around seeking support. We’ll spend time getting to know each other—I'll share a bit about myself and my intention to create a safe, supportive environment where you can begin your healing journey with trust and compassion.
I believe my greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to build trust and express deep empathy. My own healing journey allows me to relate to others in a genuine way, helping me connect with clients on a personal level. This shared understanding enables me to truly empathize with their struggles and create a safe, supportive space where they feel comfortable exploring their emotions and experiences.
I am best positioned to serve a diverse range of clients, particularly those from marginalized communities. With an eclectic, client-centered approach, I tailor my work to meet each person's unique needs and cultural background. I view every therapeutic relationship as an opportunity to learn, to honor each individual’s story and past, and to create a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported on their healing journey.
In my practice, I help clients explore their past to uncover the roots of emotional pain and unmet needs. By identifying how old wounds show up in their present lives, we work on validating their experiences and learning to be present with themselves. This approach fosters self-compassion, emotional healing, and a stronger sense of self-worth, empowering clients to create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
In my practice, I use Adlerian therapy to help clients understand themselves as whole, interconnected individuals. We explore early family dynamics and childhood experiences to uncover the roots of unhealthy coping patterns. By focusing on community, connection, and belonging, I support clients in developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others, building self-worth, and creating more meaningful lives.
In my practice, I use culturally sensitive therapy as a core framework to ensure that each client feels respected, understood, and valued for who they are. I recognize that every individual’s cultural background, whether related to race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, or other aspects of identity—deeply influences how they experience the world and process emotional challenges.
