It takes courage to reach out for support, and I feel honored to be trusted with my clients’ stories. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where we’ll work at your pace to build insight, resilience, and lasting change. I have a background in both medical social work and residential mental health, allowing me to build rapport quickly so you can feel safe in our sessions.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’ve been carrying a lot on your own for a long time. I believe therapy works best when you don’t have to pretend you’re okay or have everything figured out. Together, we create a space where you can show up honestly, make sense of your experiences, and explore meaningful change at a pace that feels grounded and supportive. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all process.

CJ Medina, here. I am a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has worked with at-risk youth, veterans, and people with disabilities. Though, I primarily work with children, I have worked with adults in many capacities. I would like to have a balance of adults and children in my practice so I am not taking children right now. Adults need to access their inner child, too. I have 15 years experience with kindergarten through higher education and beyond. Special Education is my specialty, and I am old and wise in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, disability law, and targeted counseling services. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is my original specialty for children and adults and I have extensive knowledge, psychoeducation, and coping skills/tools to share. I also am a trauma-informed counselor. A sexual assault trained counselor. And super funny to talk to.

Hello!! My name is Chloe Meshel-Wood, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about creating a safe, open, and supportive space for my clients.
I have learned that getting to know you and understanding your values is an important part of the healing process. My goal is to support you in navigating challenges, building on your strengths, and feeling confident taking charge of your own life. Every person is unique, and I strive to recognize and highlight my clients strengths.
If you feel like we might be a good fit, please connect so I can learn more about you. Starting therapy can often feel like a challenging step, and I would be honored to support you through that process.
I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work. Having navigated significant life transitions myself, including divorce and co-parenting, I approach each client with genuine empathy and a grounded, realistic perspective. Reaching out takes courage, and I don't take that lightly.
I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating. That's why I offer every potential client a complimentary 30-minute consultation before we begin - an opportunity to get to know one another, ask anything on your mind, and determine together whether we're the right fit. There are no wrong questions and no pressure. To schedule a :30 minute no charge consultation please follow this link: https://tinyurl.com/No-Charge-Consultation
My style is warm and direct. Sessions are collaborative and active - we'll be working together toward something concrete. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a couple arrive on the other side of hard work with clarity and renewed intention, or witnessing an individual move from sadness and confusion to finding their footing and a version of themselves they feel good about.
I work exclusively via telehealth - and I believe that's a genuine advantage. There's real value in therapy that happens on your own terms. No traffic, no babysitter needed - show up as you are. It's not unusual for a little one to wander in, and those moments often give me a richer understanding of a client's world than any office could.
Outside the office I'm a mother, grandmother, and devoted companion to golden retrievers Whitney and Ginger. I'm closely connected to my 87-year-old parents, connected to communities in Marin County, North Lake Tahoe, and Bend, Oregon, and endlessly curious about the world. Licensed in California, Oregon, and Nevada.
If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to hear from you.

You don't have to have it all figured out to start therapy. Whether you're carrying years of trauma, navigating anxiety and depression, or just feeling like something's off and you're not sure why — you deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
I'm a person-centered therapist with a background in community mental health, where I've worked with people facing a wide range of challenges; anxiety, depression, substance use, and complex trauma. I bring empathy, authenticity, and yes — humor — into my work, because healing doesn't have to be rigid or clinical. I'm deeply committed to body justice, social justice, and affirming care for LGBTQIA+ and trans communities and their allies. All are welcome here.
I'm so glad you found your way here. Seeking treatment is an indication of being ready for change and having a new experience of life. I'm an insight oriented therapist meaning I assist clients in illuminating their inner workings and wounds that have created struggles in their lives. I work at a level of healing and empowering with the intention to offer guidance rather than to instruct. You are the expert of your life. Together we take a look at what needs to be addressed and resolved then move into recognizing one's own strengths, value, and worth. This allows individuals to move into greater appreciation and acceptance of self.
I have worked for several years with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a strong focus on personal acceptance, self-compassion, and resolution of internal conflicts based in trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship strain, or lack of direction and focus in one’s life. I specialize in substance abuse and addiction treatment. Having been in recovery for 10 years myself, I understand the journey of ending the cycle of self destruction and moving to a place of healing and greater peace.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who values authenticity, connection, and creating a space where clients feel truly seen and supported. I believe therapy should be both practical and meaningful—helping you build tools for daily life while also gaining deeper insight into yourself and your experiences. I have experience providing in-person and telehealth therapy services to pregnant and parenting mothers as well as individuals with severe mental illness who needed follow-up after hospitalization or just an on-going therapeutic relationship. As a member of the Queer community, I enjoy working with others who identify within that population. I have experience working with grief, end of life support for individuals as well as their family.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 40 years of experience in the fields of addiction, domestic violence, and medical social work. In my years of experience, I've worked almost exclusively with adults individually and in groups who had difficulties managing their lives due to substance abuse and the concomitant mental health issues of depression and anxiety. I also facilitated groups of male and female substance abusers and perpetrators of domestic violence. In our groups, we focused on CBT lessons and exercises involving role play, modeling, and demonstrations. Clients were given homework to continue their learning and practice on their own between sessions. As a social worker working in public and private agencies, I worked with clients experiencing relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, and day to day life problems. I strongly uphold the Social Workers Code of Ethics that includes, respecting the dignity and worth of a person and exercising compassion and a non-judgmental approach with each individual.
I endorse and utilize multiple therapeutic techniques that include the following: psychodynamic techniques, cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, person-centered techniques, and solution focused techniques. I am sensitive and respectful in using techniques that are agreed upon by the client and suitable to meet each individual's needs.
I look forward to the opportunity to assist you in working through challenges that will help promote and maintain a better, happier and more peaceful life.
My style is loving, compassionate and direct. If you just want someone to listen and not give you suggestions on how to improve your life, then I am not the right therapist for you! I actively participate in each and every session.
Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in sunny southern California, living with my partner, of many years, John, and our three cats, three dogs, and tortoise, who by the way, is currently hibernating...and don't we all wish we could do that at times? I have many years of experience working with individuals, and with a varied range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship challenges. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings with many ethnic populations. My style is down-to-earth, relatable, at times, direct, and always with a touch of humor. I love what I do and consider it an honor to help you resolve whatever it might be that is holding you back. I look forward to working with you! When people are challenged with changes that affect the ability to manage stressors, there comes a time for positive change and support. I am passionate about focusing on the healing process, whether it involves the challenges of exploring maladaptive behaviors or the triggers of trauma. I help my clients to find healthy coping mechanisms and self-autonomy which will lead to positive perceptions. This, in turn, creates personal identification and self-worth, thus creating healthy relationships. There is not one single approach for each individual, so I have trained in different modalities.
