New to Grow
Hi, I’m Judy, and I’m glad you’re here. I work with adults and seniors, to help navigate life’s transitions and challenges while providing support in creating a fulfilling, balanced life. If you are experiencing major life changes, adjustment periods, uncertainty, loss, or feeling overwhelmed. Together, we can build strength and resilience, create greater clarity, and develop your ability to manage emotions-- always at a pace that feels right for you. Reaching out for support can feel both daunting and courageous, and I would be honored to be part of your journey.
What we’ll focus on first: In our first session, we’ll talk about the challenges you’re facing and what you hope to gain from therapy. In the sessions that follow, we’ll work together to identify specific goals, with your input guiding the process every step of the way. What you can expect from me: My focus is on building a relationship grounded in trust and openness. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and respected. I will listen carefully to your experiences and offer thoughtful feedback. At times, I may share insights that are difficult to hear, but always with the intention of supporting your growth and helping you navigate the changes you want to make. The process of change: Along the way, you’ll build self-awareness and develop practical tools to support your well-being. Progress is not always linear, but over time you may notice meaningful shifts in how you think, feel, and respond. Healing and personal growth take time, and therapy is a journey that asks for patience and compassion toward yourself.
My therapeutic foundation: I believe every person is inherently whole and capable of healing. My role is to help you reconnect with the strength, insight, and resilience that already exist within you. How I work: My approach combines compassionate support with practical tools. I tailor each session to your goals, interests, and strengths so that therapy feels both personal and purposeful. Methods I may draw on: Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), mindfulness practices, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or “tapping”), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). These approaches can support concerns such as stress, anxiety, chronic pain, fears and phobias, insomnia, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is not only to help you feel better in the moment, but also to help you understand yourself more deeply, build healthier patterns, and create lasting change.
I am especially well-suited to serve adults and seniors who are navigating major life changes, adjustment periods, or emotional distress. This may include times of transition, uncertainty, loss, or feeling overwhelmed. Clients who value empathetic listening, practical support, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship often find this work especially helpful. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and focused on helping clients build emotional resilience, strengthen coping strategies, and regain a sense of balance and purpose. I work with people who may feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, uncertain about the future, or overwhelmed by personal circumstances. In our work together, I offer a safe and respectful space to process emotions, deepen self-awareness, and move toward healing and growth.

I identify as
Integrative
I use a combination of techniques and ideas from different therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs. Rather than relying on a single method, I tailor treatment to align with your goals, interests, and strengths. Depending on the individual, therapy may incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, somatic techniques, psychodynamic concepts, and other evidence-based models to create a personalized and supportive therapeutic experience.
Trauma-Focused CBT
TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment approach designed to help individuals process and recover from trauma. It combines trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients identify and change distressing thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, develop coping skills, and reduce trauma-related symptoms such as anxiety, fear, and avoidance.
