My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, and friendly. My hope is to help my clients understand they are not alone and there is always hope to move forward. If you have a desire to make a positive change in your life, therapy may be the right path for you. .
Hi, I’m Adriana, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California with over 16 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I work with adults who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in familiar patterns, or simply tired of carrying everything on their own. Whether you’re navigating relationship difficulties, family dynamics, work or financial stress, grief, life changes, or experiences from the past that continue to affect you today, therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin making meaningful changes.
I integrate evidence-based approaches with genuine conversation, helping you recognize patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, strengthen boundaries, regulate difficult emotions, and develop practical tools you can use outside of therapy.
I welcome clients of diverse backgrounds and identities and provide therapy in both English and Spanish. My goal is to offer culturally responsive, individualized care that respects your experiences, values, and the life you want to create.
Therapy doesn’t have to mean having everything figured out before you begin. We can start wherever you are and work together from there.
Thank you for your interest in my counseling practice!
I provide individual counseling for clients seeking support in managing anxiety, life transitions, grief and trauma symptoms. I received my MSW in Clinical Practice from the University of Pennsylvania and have been practicing for 20 years. I believe that people are doing the best they can with the resources that they have, so my goal as a therapist is to help you develop self-awareness and coping skills so you can feel more resilient and secure in yourself.
Hi it's nice to meet you, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Fuller Theological Seminary and have been practicing for over 8 years. I help adults struggling with trauma, anxiety and life stressors to regain their sense of agency, make sense of the past, and make progress towards their goals for the future.
I work with adults who carry a lot — often more than others realize. On the outside, you may seem capable and grounded. On the inside, anxiety feels persistent, old experiences still surface, and the ways you've been coping may no longer be working. Whether you're navigating trauma, burnout, a major life transition, or patterns that keep pulling you back, I offer a steady, nonjudgmental space to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and build something more sustainable. With over 10 years in mental health, I bring a trauma-informed, culturally aware perspective to every session — focused on your whole story, not just your symptoms.
Are you struggling to manage relationships, work and your over all health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? Is it hard to learn to love yourself?
I work with individuals to resolve past trauma, identify thought distortions that hold one back from fully loving themselves and seeing their fullest potential can result in improved relationships and experiencing a more satisfying life experience.
I integrate various therapeutic modalities that meet you where you are. I’m honored to work with you and I’m passionate about helping others.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Ordained Minister and Pastoral Counselor.

Research shows the Power of Connection drives roughly 60% of Therapeutic Success. My Compassionate Therapy Style focuses on Building Bridges of Trust and cultivating a meaningful connection with positive outcomes.
So, how do you find the best therapist for you? That's a great question. And it's one that most people struggle with answering whether it's their first or umpteenth search. Is it the therapist him/herself, their personality, theoretical approach, or specialty? While all these factors are important, it shouldn't be your responsibility to find the best clinician; rather it's the clinician's responsibility to become the best therapist for you.
I also have a particular interest in using holistic practices to help create great results for depression & anxiety disorders as well as trauma/PTSD and other mental/behavioral conditions. These include EFT Tapping, breathing/mindfulness/meditation, and Amino Acids, etc.

Hello,
By the time we reach adulthood, many of us find ourselves carrying the weight of unresolved concerns. This emotional “luggage” can give rise to feelings of sadness, loneliness, helplessness, low self-esteem, hopelessness, persistent worry, and many other challenges that affect our daily lives.
Let me introduce myself: I am Dr. Varda Hakobyan, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in Los Angeles, California. I work with a broad spectrum of psychological concerns, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma, problematic relationships, behavioral issues, and more. These challenges can place a heavy burden on both mind and body, often limiting our ability to build fulfilling personal, social, and professional lives.
In my work with you, I draw on an eclectic, integrative approach, tailoring therapy to your unique needs so that our work together supports both healing and meaningful growth.
Most importantly, I want you to know that I strive to create a safe, positive, and non-judgmental environment, where we can build a strong foundation of trust. It is within this trustful therapeutic relationship that we can explore the deeper layers of your psyche and support your path toward well-being.

Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I earned my master’s degree from UC Berkeley and have been practicing for 10 years. Hi! I'm Dr. Chelsea Acker, a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise working with children and adolescents. I'm experienced with a range of concerns, but I have specialized training in treating trauma, suicidality, and early psychosis.
In 2019, I graduated from the PAU-Stanford PsyD Consortium, where I trained at the Stanford School of Medicine's psychiatry department and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital's program at a local high school. I attended internship (our version of residency, more or less) at the UC Davis Medical Center, where I received world-class training in the treatment of childhood trauma and early psychosis, both separately and together. I then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Chicago Child Trauma Center, where I continued to build my expertise in the treatment of childhood trauma. After that, I worked at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, for two and a half years, where I specialized in working with children and adolescents with complex, persistent symptom presentations, who had often been hospitalized multiple times for safety concerns and struggled to make progress with previous therapists.
You deserve to feel better. If you've been feeling stressed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change, you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.
Hi, I'm Michelle, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Mindset Coach with over thirty years of experience. I help people feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their emotions. My goal is to create a space where therapy feels like a real, supportive conversation—one where you can better understand yourself and begin to move forward with clarity.
Many of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we take a closer look at what's happening beneath the surface—not just within you, but within the context of your life, your relationships, and the situations you're navigating every day. We explore how your thoughts, emotions, and stress responses are connected, and we build tools to help you respond in healthier, more empowering ways.
I believe there are two important relationships worth understanding: the relationships you have with other people, and the relationship you have with yourself. A question we'll often explore is, "What happens to you when...?" Whether it's conflict, criticism, disappointment, or uncertainty, understanding how you respond under different circumstances helps you recognize patterns and make choices that better reflect the person you want to be.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. Together, we'll focus on the parts of your life that are within your influence… strengthening communication, setting healthy boundaries, and making changes that help your relationships feel healthier while allowing you to feel more like yourself.

To me, therapy is most meaningful when it begins with curiosity rather than judgment. Along the way, we'll pay attention to what your mind and body may be communicating and use our work together as a space for insight, healing, and meaningful change. Life's difficulties are a natural part of the human experience. At times, individuals may feel isolated in their struggles or believe that no one truly understands what they are going through. These thoughts can contribute to anxiety, depression, substance use, and other challenges that impact relationships, work, and overall quality of life. When left unaddressed, these difficulties can become overwhelming and interfere with one's ability to move forward.
I believe that meaningful change is possible through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based therapeutic approach. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can gain insight, build effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, and develop healthier ways of managing life's challenges. Together, we can work toward healing, personal wellness, and lasting positive change.

Kelli is a trauma informed yoga teacher, writer, Land protector, Kundalini and Vishoka meditation practitioner, and mother of 4. Trained by Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur in the Compassionate Inquiry process, Kelli's intention as a psychotherapist is to bring awareness to all facets of ourselves. When we witness these parts with compassion, we become whole, liberated, and restored to our True Nature. As we become more present and connected with ourselves, there is safety and space for authentic expression through our body, psyche, life, and community. Kelli specializes in Complex Trauma; "a psychic wound that hardens you psychologically and then interferes with your ability to grow and develop. It pains you and now you're acting out of pain. It induces fear and now you're acting out of fear. Trauma is not what happens to you, it's what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you." This is often revealed through symptoms of depression, anxiety, and addiction. Our emotions are not tangential to our health. They are a signaling intelligence that can alert us to all sorts of phenomenon in our experience.
Hi, I’m Ryan Ingram, PsyD, a licensed psychologist in California. I work with adults, teens, and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next steps - whether that’s related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, identity, or major life transitions. LGBTQ+ affirming and sex positive.
Therapy with me is a safe, affirming space for reflection and real change. I bring warmth, curiosity, and honesty, while also challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My approach emphasizes choices, personal responsibility, and accountability, not blame, so you can better understand what is within your control and take meaningful action. I integrate evidence-based approaches to help you regulate emotions, change unhelpful patterns, heal from past experiences, and build a life that feels more authentic, intentional, and aligned with your values.
I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and become more aligned with the person they want to be. Therapy can help you understand the patterns, fears, and beliefs that keep you stuck while developing more intentional ways of responding. Together, we can work on reducing overthinking, improving communication and boundaries, increasing self-trust, and making choices that reflect your values rather than fear or pressure. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, capable, and confident in how you show up in relationships, work, and your everyday life.
Sometimes, as adults, we discover that our ability to make decisions; to love someone; to accept the love of another; to feel peace and inner calm; to find the motivation to accomplish goals; to forgive a betrayal; and to experience self-acceptance and confidence can feel limited, creating distress and discomfort. Thus begins the journey of an examined life. When you explore how you operate, what influences your choices, and what has contributed to your experiences, you begin the process of enriching your internal resources. This expansion of resources broadens your choices and options in life and holds the potential for higher functioning and greater happiness.
As a therapist, I provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. I am easy to talk to, interactive, respectfully direct, and mindful of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and utilize each individual’s strengths and resources, supporting the discovery of an authentic self that experiences life in a richer and more satisfying way.
I first and foremost adapt my style of therapy to meet your needs. We work together to identify what best supports you toward your goals or areas of focus in therapy. Some clients progress through insight and understanding about an issue while others progress through tangible present-moment skills and tools, all of which I can provide support you with. I also feel that Identity (race, gender, sexual orientation, etc) plays an important role about how we experience the world and how the world views us and I incorporate this into therapy. I see therapy as an equal and collaborative effort between us.
I offer a broad range of personal experiences and clinical background to therapy. I enjoy working with people of color and I identify strongly with them. I have extensive experience working with couples, mixed race individuals, inter-racial relationships, the LGBTQQI community, and athletes.
I believe I have a great feel for supporting you to be comfortable entering into therapy. Finding a balance of acceptance of you and where you are at in your life while also supporting you with the change you want to make. I offer inquisitive questions to inspire critical thought with tangible actions and tools that you can use.

Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $300.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
For Clients that are insured by Kaiser: I will be confirming your appointment 48 hours before the appointment by email, please email me back with a confirmation. If you do not respond to my email I will cancel the appointment. I am sorry to have to do this, however I have had an excessive amount of no shows. Thank you for understanding.

Maybe you’re navigating the emotional roller coaster of fertility treatment, holding onto hope while also feeling anxious, frustrated, exhausted, or heartbroken. Maybe you’re pregnant and feeling overwhelmed by all the “what ifs,” or struggling with the fact that pregnancy isn’t feeling the way you imagined it would. Maybe you’re postpartum and trying to find your footing while adjusting to life as a new version of yourself.
Whatever season you’re in, you don’t have to carry it all alone. I’m here to provide a warm, judgment-free space where you can talk about the things that are hard, messy, complicated, or even difficult to put into words. They say it takes a village to raise a family let me be part of yours.
I have extensive experience working with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, infertility, pre- and postpartum challenges, substance use, and the unique experiences of first responders, active military, and veterans. Through my work in private practice, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and hospitals, I’ve learned that everyone’s journey is different and that healing happens when we feel truly understood and supported.
In our sessions, I take a collaborative and empowering approach. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, uncover your inner strengths, and build tools to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership, one that honors your story, celebrates your resilience, and helps you move toward lasting growth and balance.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply wanting to reconnect with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you. You deserve to feel grounded, hopeful, and at peace — and I’d be honored to support you on that path.
My practice, Raíz Psychotherapy, is deeply grounded in the understanding of how systemic issues of the world we live in play major roles in our mental health. Acknowledging the system impacts to individuals’’ lives, I take a liberatory approach as we dive deeper in our work together to explore the factors influencing your day-to-day life to better support you in meeting your therapeutic goals.
I love to work with people who are motivated to engage in therapy, and that can look many different ways. Sometimes motivation manifests as curiosity to look at certain patterns or areas of your life in new ways, it can also look like knowing exactly what changes you want to make in your life and knowing it's time to start that work, and or others being motivated looks like finally taking the big step to ask for support. Regardless of how motivation looks for you, if this resonates with you, we can do great work together to get to the root of your experience and create change.
Past clients have described me as collaborative, understanding, trustworthy, authentic, and supportive.
The most important relationship you have is the one with yourself. Therapy is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with who you are, and create meaningful change in your life. I believe that every person’s story deserves to be met with compassion, curiosity, and understanding.
I specialize in supporting women navigating life transitions, anxiety, trauma, motherhood, identity changes, and reproductive mental health challenges, including infertility, pregnancy loss, IVF, and the complex emotions that can accompany the path to parenthood. I understand how deeply these experiences can impact your sense of self, relationships, and overall well-being. I also have experience supporting individuals through Sutter Health’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), helping clients navigate work-related stress, burnout, life changes, relationship challenges, and personal struggles while balancing the demands of everyday life. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients can gain clarity, develop effective coping strategies, and reconnect with their strengths.
My approach is warm, authentic, and trauma-informed. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical coping strategies, process difficult experiences, and build a stronger connection with yourself. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you feel empowered to heal, grow, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.

Hi, I’m Kristen Levin, LCSW. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and holding everything together isn’t always easy. If you’re going through a challenging season, feeling stuck, or simply needing space to focus on yourself, therapy can offer support, clarity, and relief.
My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, with care tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, while gently guiding, supporting, and challenging them when helpful.
I strive to create a safe, trusting, and comfortable environment where you can openly express yourself, process emotions, build coping skills, and develop a stronger sense of self. Together, we work toward meaningful change and a more balanced, fulfilling life.
I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Client-Centered Therapy. Treatment is always collaborative, and we’ll develop a plan together that aligns with your specific goals.
I look forward to connecting and supporting you on your journey.

Welcome. I help clients navigate midlife and later life transitions. My goal is to help you feel as mentally and emotionally well as possible while moving through these changes with greater ease. I find it deeply rewarding to help clients discover meaning and fulfillment during these stages of their lives.
In our sessions, I listen closely and support you as you work through challenges. I help you gain insight and develop practical psychological skills, so you feel less anxious and depressed, have more satisfying family relationships, thrive at work or enjoy retirement, and live in alignment with your values.
I support clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, hormonal changes, and illness. I help people navigate challenging family relationships, caregiver burnout, grief, and career and retirement transitions. I also help clients overcome hoarding and overwhelming clutter.
My experience includes directing the career counseling program at Stanford School of Medicine for 10 years.
Hi, I'm Jason Markel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and struggles with self-worth.
Many of the people I work with have spent years taking care of others, second-guessing themselves, or trying to meet expectations that don't truly fit who they are. They often feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck repeating patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself, understand what's holding you back, and begin creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. I believe lasting change happens when people feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences without judgment. Together, we'll work to build self-trust, strengthen boundaries, improve relationships, and help you move toward the life you want rather than the life you feel obligated to live.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, identity questions, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and empowered in your daily life.
