(she/her)
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have had a successful career with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and have made a lasting impact on the lives of Veterans and their families.
My first session is focused on getting to know my client better, clarifying their goals for psychotherapy, and establishing a good working alliance. My goal in the first session is to instill hope for the future, and to provide a warm, encouraging, and safe environment for my client to share all aspects of their selves.
Over the past decade, I have built a strong reputation for forming genuine, trusting relationships with clients while delivering effective, evidence-based care. Clients have told me that they appreciate my non-judgmental stance and my warmth and compassion.
I specialize in working with military Veterans, first responders, military families, and caregivers. I have extensive experience with clients who are depressed, anxious, and have experienced trauma. I have a personal and professional interest in working with women, minorities, and the LGBTQ+ community.
I use CBT interventions to help my clients learn about and change thinking and behavioral patterns, leading to improved emotional states.
