New to Grow
Creating a relationship where you feel truly seen, heard, and safe is at the heart of my work. I believe healing starts with connection and I’m committed to building a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment. Together, we’ll carefully revisit and reprocess the experiences that still carry emotional weight, helping you release and let go of all the anxiety, stress, and baggage that no longer serve you.
I take a collaborative, down to earth approach to therapy. You will feel my warmth and authenticity and you will probably notice right away that I’m really tuned in. I listen closely to the details, because your story deserves that kind of care. I want you to look forward to our sessions, an hour that’s completely, unapologetically yours. No distractions, no judgment, just a space to be fully you.
I’ll teach you to notice your negative thoughts and how they influence your feelings and behaviors. As you become more aware of those influences, you will start to recognize your triggers and learn to regulate your emotions more effectively. With EMDR, I will use it to help you reprocess painful or distressing memories so they lose their emotional intensity. Many clients will often say their emotional reactivity softens, and with it, they sleep better, focus more easily, and feel steadier in their daily life. Many find it transformative, not just symptom relief, but lasting shifts toward healing and empowerment.
I specialize in working with individuals who are ready to engage in meaningful, transformative work. My ideal client is someone who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, but also deeply desires change and is open to exploring new ways of thinking, relating, and being. You might be an individual navigating anxiety, life transitions, or patterns you’re tired of repeating. Or someone who may not always have the words for what they’re feeling, but senses that past wounds are still shaping their present and living with the effects of trauma, emotional neglect, or relational wounds that still feel unresolved. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to be open to exploring your story with care and curiosity. I offer a trauma-informed approach where safety, compassion, and deep healing are central to the process.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a different kind of therapy. Unlike traditional talk therapy, you won’t have to talk about your past for years to get relief. That trauma you experienced is trapped in your brain. EMDR helps your brain reprocess what’s been stuck so it doesn’t keep replaying the broken record. We’ll work at your pace, ensuring you feel safe and comfortable.
