Hello! I am Amanda, counselor of 18 years, wife of 20 years, and mother for 13 years and counting. I have been a resident of the North Austin area for the last five years and am a Texas native, though I did spend some time growing up in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I am active in my son’s school, my church and my community which I am happy to call home.
I have worked in domestic violence shelters, residential programs for children, with Child Protective Services, and in Private Practice.
For many years I have had the privilege of joining my clients in the process of change. We go through so much in our lives. Love, loss, stress and anxieties shape who we are. I respect the courage that it takes to look at these things and seek growth and change.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or emotional stress - or noticing patterns from the past repeating in your relationships - you’re not alone. Unresolved trauma, depression, or anger can affect the way you think, behave, and connect with others. These patterns can also affect how you see yourself - leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anger, anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, self-doubt, and relationship issues, so you can feel more calm and balanced. I also welcome clients who struggle with ADHD-related challenges, particularly when emotional regulation or past trauma is involved. Teenagers are also welcome.
In therapy, I aim to listen more than I talk. I offer guidance and explain psychological concepts when they’re helpful, but my main focus is creating space for you to express yourself and process what you're feeling. I ask questions to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors - and I follow your lead.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at the level of both the mind and body. I also help you explore how past wounds may be affecting your current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions - especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, struggling with anger, shutdown, or self-doubt - or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people around you - therapy can help. You don’t have to have all the answers. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to work with you.
Welcome! I'm DiAna Escamilla. Please take a moment to acknowledge that you have taken the first step towards bettering your mental health—yay! I have been a licensed professional counselor since 1995 when I retired from the ARMY. I'm a mother of six children and understand the stress of raising children as a single parent. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I have worked in various settings, collecting a broad range of experience with diverse clients.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore their obstacles to feeling emotionally healthy, and to try to understand and heal the mistreatment they have endured. We can do this in the privacy of my office or virtually.

DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
Life doesn't always move in a straight line and sometimes the detours can leave you feeling stuck, hard on yourself, and unsure of which direction to go next. That's exactly the kind of moment I am here for. I support people who are experiences changes with relationships and internal changes to understand their path again when it feels like it has gone a different route. I want you to be confident and feel like you again.
I'm Jamie, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Texas. I use a blend of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and supportive therapy to help you reconnect with your strengths and shift stories that are holding you back and build a path forward that feels like yours.

Hey there! I'm Kelyn, a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas.
First things first, take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards taking care of yourself and improving your mental health because, let's face it - starting therapy can be overwhelming, scary, and exciting all at the same time.
I have been practicing for about 10 years now and I love helping people who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and a number of other issues become the best versions of themselves.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Texas and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado I have made the commitment to help others as they face adversity so as to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with themselves. I bring a wealth of experience and specialized training in addictions and mental health to my practice and there is one common theme I have noticed throughout my career, which is our self-talk. We are our own worst enemies, and this wreaks havoc on our self-esteem.
I am Alison Mann, a Licensed Professional Therapist.
I am sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time right now. It is important to process your feelings and examine your options in this situation. Even though things seem rocky I know we can get through this journey together. How are you feeling today? To help us get started, can you please tell me what brought you here? Just write a few short sentences about the challenges you're experiencing or what you would like to talk about and we will go from there.
Are you pregnant and experiencing some overwhelming anxiety? Have you just had a baby and can’t figure out why you feel so sad? Maybe you’re feeling isolated or struggling to find the balance between being “mom” and who you were before becoming mom. I’m here to help and want you to know you are NOT alone! I specialize in working with women who are pregnant, postpartum, or in the throes of motherhood.

My name is Omar Sandoval and I could have been a statistic. The persistent financial, social, and inter- and intrapersonal adversity I experienced coming from a low socioeconomic status single parent home could have defined me were it not for hope, discipline, education, luck, and my hobbies. Instead, I am a Mexican-American English/Spanish speaking Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor practicing since 2017. I was inspired to work in this field due to many hardships growing up. Though difficult to overcome, such significant obstacles ignited my curiosity for understanding the human condition and improving upon it when and where possible, a lifelong pursuit which still guides me personally and professionally.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Houston, Texas with extensive experience in mental health treatment across diverse populations, especially ethnicity, gender, age, religious, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status. After earning a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, I completed a post-graduate fellowship focused on psychiatric rehabilitation of veterans with severe mental illness.
I further advanced my clinical skills when joining The Menninger Clinic staff, where I spent five years specializing in the treatment of business professionals facing mental health crises, young adults navigating the transition into adulthood, and clients experiencing severe mental health challenges, including suicidal ideation.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, after recognizing the urgent need for increased access to mental health care I established my private practice, Therapy by Ivy, PLLC. Since then I have offered individual telehealth sessions to adult clients seeking to improve their mental health and enhance their lives. In 2023, I expanded my practice to include in-person sessions while continuing to provide telehealth sessions.
