(she/her)
I am licensed in Texas with 7 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, lgbt-related issues, relationship issues, & family conflicts. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
In our first session you can expect us to get to know each other and build rapport. This is the time for you to ask questions, figure out how therapy works, and us gather information.
Having worked in this field for over 10 years I have done a wide variety of therapy with a wide variety of clientele. I began my career doing in-home family therapy, switched gears to work from an insurance aspect, worked in crisis management, and in an intensive outpatient. This has allowed me to not only develop more knowledge on different skills and theories, but be able to tailor treatment to each individual with their different needs.
I love working with teens and adults who often feel unheard and lost. I hope to serve as a safe space for you to feel heard and to feel like you can ground yourself and find your way.

I have been using DBT for the last 5 years. I relied heavily on this treatment modality while working in an intensive outpatient program center around mood and anxiety disorders.
I began my therapeutic career doing family therapy and operating from a family model 10 years ago, and have found incorporating support systems allow accountability, support, and understanding.
