Hello, my name is Julie Phillips and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe in supporting each other and one way I can support you is through therapy. Whether you need to process a stressful event or need to vent I am here to support you. I strive to tailor your session to meet your needs. Some sessions may need to be more strictly focused with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while other sessions are spent on learning a new coping skill such as mindfulness. Your session is about you and what may help you the most to resolve what issues you may have and to help you find your strength and empower you to keep moving forward.
My aim is to make you, the client, feel comfortable in a judgement free zone. I want you to feel like you came to the right place, a warm inviting, calm, and empowering space where you can share what you feel you need to share.
A Big Hello to you. You are scanning all these profiles. Looking for something to stand out to make you say,"I will go with this one." It is daunting but you have made it this far. Here is the tip. Your choice is not terminal. It is absolutely ok to try multiple therapists to see who gets you the best. Who understands you the best. After each session, you should feel lighter. You may not recall all that was said, but you will note how you feel. Did you feel heard? Understood? Did the therapist talk to me like they were reading a book or did it sound like they really got me? When you get the right one, those questions will be answered with a firm, Yes.
Please Note: I only provide Talk Therapy in my practice. If you are looking for letters for work, ESA, Social Security, FMLA, Family Court, etc., unfortunately I cannot help. You will need a psychological evaluation by a forensic psychologist. This agency does not provide assessments, letters for claims or appearances in court.

There is an excitement that comes from building your own self-assurance and confidence as you stand securely in the story you want to live. Sometimes we wait to change our story because we don't feel ready. My hope is that we can all have the wisdom and courage to explore ourselves with compassion so that we can better love ourselves and love others. Let's create a foundation that allows us to live balanced personally, professionally, and relationally.

Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be.
As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.
Is your worrying, depression, or anger taking over your life? Is the loss of a loved one too painful to cope? Are you trying to find a solution to a damaged marriage or relationship? Is it difficult to stay calm and composed when angry? Seeing a professional is one of the best decisions you can ever make for yourself. I'm not here to issue judgement, but to focus on getting you back to a happier and more fulfilled life. I can help you cope but I can also help you conquer the overwhelming stressors in your life.
My job is simple. It's to help you get back to living your BEST life. I understand that anger, depression, anxiety, grief, and broken relationships can derail even the strongest person. It's not easy, but it's possible!
My current practice is an extension of my work in Toronto, Memphis, Cincinnati, and New York. Since 1999 I have worked with individuals, couples, children and families, suffering from depression, anxiety, anger, grief, shame, and trauma. Let's get you back to living your best life.
Hello! My name is Stacey Shine.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, past trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed by daily life, therapy can offer clarity and relief. I work with individuals and couples to explore what’s not working, uncover inner strengths, and develop practical tools for real, lasting change.
Clients often share that they feel at ease in our sessions—that therapy feels low-stress, grounded, and collaborative. My goal is to create a space where you can speak freely, feel safe, and do meaningful work toward your personal goals.
My approach is warm, direct, and personalized. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, The Gottman Method for couples, and Strengths-Based techniques. Whether we're tackling anxiety, improving communication, or building resilience, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.
Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating. It can be a supportive space to pause, reflect, and grow—and you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My experience varies in different settings, as l have provided individual therapy in community mental health agencies and treatment facilities. I am committed to helping individuals learn how to build healthier relationship with themselves and others. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, and core beliefs. I am passionate about people and their struggle with the roller coaster of life.
I believe that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. Through my work, l strive to foster a safe space where clients can tell their story, gain insight into how life has impacted them, and create a new reality that is more fulfilling. I utilize an eclectic approach that includes Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, with an eye toward how people can use their support system, community resources, mindfulness and newly learned skills to live the kind of life they envision for themselves.
Therapy comes in all shapes and sizes, but the bottom line is the same, Helping People Heal. l have a passion for healing and for putting clients first. If you are ready to take a step toward healing, I am here to guide, support and encourage you on this journey.
I look forward to working with you!
