I’m Dr. Crystal Brown-Voeltz, a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience helping people navigate life’s ups and downs. I focus on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. My goal is to help you build resilience, find clarity, and move forward with confidence in your life. I specialize in providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs, supporting growth, resilience, and meaningful change. My approach blends professional expertise with a genuine commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and personal development.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Let's chat, I believe that each session is a conversation between you and I. In our first session I'll get to know you and your goals, what's going well and not so well and together we will figure out where to go in treatment. At the same time you’ll have space to share your goals, ask questions, and start exploring ways to feel more in control and supported. It’s a relaxed, judgment-free session to see how we can work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe in and use a warm, practical, and no-nonsense approach to therapy. I'm often told that people feel both seen and challenged—supported in a safe space, yet guided toward real, sustainable change. My work blends evidence-based, trauma-informed care with a deep understanding of complex systems—from healthcare and corrections to military and organizational environments. I believe in insight but I don't think insight alone is enough; it’s about learning how to navigate life more effectively, manage stress, and make decisions that align with your values. The results clients see include: More emotional clarity/regulation, stronger boundaries and healthier relationships; fewer crises and more confidence in navigating challenges; A shift from merely surviving to functioning with purpose. In therapy I strive to help people understand themselves, respond differently, and move forward in ways that stick—without fluff, jargon, or endless processing.

My career is Social Worker; my Life's work is mother and Nana and partner. I work best with clients who are ready to explore meaningful change in their lives—whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or facing transitions that feel challenging to navigate alone. I support individuals seeking to manage anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or life transitions, as well as those looking to build resilience, self-awareness, and healthier coping strategies. My ideal clients are open to reflection, growth, and working collaboratively to create lasting, positive change.
