I’m a counseling psychologist with over 30 years of experience helping people navigate life’s transitions, challenges, and emotional struggles. I’ve been licensed in New Jersey since 2002 and Tennessee since 2006 and hold PSYPACT credentials, allowing me to provide telepsychology services across most U.S. states. My clinical background spans corrections, hospitals, forensic settings, and outpatient psychotherapy—giving me a broad and practical perspective on human resilience. In our work together, you can expect a calm, compassionate space where you feel heard, respected, and gently challenged. I don’t offer quick fixes—but I do help clients build insight and lasting skills through collaborative, guided conversations.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get a clear picture of what’s bringing you in and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll ask about your history, current concerns, and any goals you’d like to set. You don’t need to have all the answers—just a willingness to talk honestly. I’ll help guide the conversation, and together we’ll map out a direction that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m known for helping clients feel both deeply understood and thoughtfully challenged. My style is collaborative—I ask meaningful questions that help you uncover your own insight and direction. While my foundation is in cognitive behavioral therapy, I draw from a wide range of techniques depending on what works best for you. I also bring humor and humanity into sessions when it’s helpful. Therapy with me is not just about symptom relief—it’s about helping you develop lasting tools to navigate life more effectively.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with individuals facing anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are navigating stress from career changes, relationship challenges, or the demands of caregiving. You may feel overwhelmed or stuck—but still motivated to make meaningful changes. If you’re looking for a space to think things through, learn new coping tools, and feel more grounded, we’ll likely be a good fit.
