What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, supportive space where we’ll get to know each other and begin building trust. I’ll invite you to share what brought you in—whether it’s a specific challenge, a pattern you’ve noticed, or just a sense that something isn’t quite right. We’ll talk about your goals, what you hope to gain from therapy, and I’ll answer any questions you may have about the process. I’ll also ask about your personal history, daily stressors, support systems, and any previous counseling experience. If you’re a parent bringing in a child or teen, we’ll begin with a collaborative conversation to understand your concerns and how best to support your child. Above all, this first session is about making you feel seen, heard, and safe. It’s the first step toward healing—and you don’t have to figure it all out at once. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to meet clients exactly where they are—with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and deep compassion. I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen and understood, and I bring a calm, nonjudgmental presence to every session. My years of experience working in schools, community settings, and private practice have taught me that healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey. Whether I’m supporting a teen overwhelmed by pressure, an adult processing trauma, or a child struggling in silence, I tailor each session to meet their unique needs. My bilingual fluency in English and Spanish allows me to connect deeply with diverse clients and families. Through evidence-based care and a strength-based approach, I help clients rediscover hope, build resilience, and create lasting change. For me, therapy isn’t just about addressing problems—it’s about nurturing the inner strengths that already exist and walking beside my clients as they reclaim their voice and purpose.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I help adults and youth navigate stress, trauma, and life transitions with confidence. Whether you're facing anxiety, grief, academic pressure, relationship struggles, or major life changes, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Using evidence-based approaches and a culturally responsive lens, I guide clients toward healing, resilience, and meaningful growth—so they can thrive with greater clarity, balance, and purpose.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our work together, I use "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)", which gently helps us explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. With compassion and curiosity, we’ll look at patterns that might be causing distress and work together to build practical tools that support your healing. CBT is collaborative and focused on helping you feel more empowered, understood, and equipped to handle life’s challenges.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I focus on your strengths and what’s already working, helping you move toward the future you want to create. With compassion and care, we’ll explore small, meaningful steps that build on your resilience and bring about real change—one solution at a time.

Motivational Interviewing

I’ll meet you where you are, honoring your values and listening without judgment. Through compassionate conversation, we’ll explore your own reasons for change and support your confidence in taking the steps that feel right for you.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be fully seen and heard. With empathy, respect, and genuine care, I’ll support your natural ability to grow, heal, and find your own answers at your own pace.
