Hello! I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I got my undergraduate degree at Carson-Newman University in Psychology and my Masters Degree from Capella University. I have been practicing for over 10 years. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults through the lifespan. I enjoy being able to walk alongside people so they can become the best version of themselves, learn how to heal previous trauma, and develop healthy coping skills.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a warm, supportive converstaion focused on helping you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We'll explore what bring you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns at a pace that feels right for you. You'll leave with a clearer sense of direction and what working together may look like moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel like my greatest strength as a provider is in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters communication and a sense of belonging and safety. It is my desire to create an environment where the individual feels heard and deeply understood. Real life experiences combined with sound therapeutic interventions have made for a rich set of tools to bring to the table to share with others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I look to working with clients who are eager to increase self-awareness, are motivated for growth, and open to exploring both emotional patterns and deeper meaning in their life experiences. They may be navigating relational challenges, life transitions or unresolved grief or trauma, and value a therapeutic space that is warm, reflective, and nonjudgmental. They are ready to engage thoughtfully in the work of healing, even when it requires courage and vulnerability.

Jessica was very kind and listened closely to my story. She didn't project my responses to my trauma but asked leading questions to determine how I was coping. She was mature and thoughtful and thought provoking, encouraging and patient. I will connect with her when I am able. Our logistics are off.
