Hello! Welcome to my site, my name is Ryan Brooks Leslie, licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist. I'm glad you found me here. There are few situations in life which are comparable to being in therapy; A helping relationship based on mutual respect, honesty, humility, educated/objective guidance, and genuine connection, in order for you to better navigate this thing we call "life". Being able to say anything, without fear of judgment, reproach, or rejection can allow you to truly face the obstacles that separate you from happiness and freedom; to be the best and most fulfilled version of yourself. I have spent the better part of 18 years educating myself and honing my counseling skills to people in this endeavor, and I must say I love being a therapist and have great confidence in my therapeutic skills and their benefit to you. I am experienced in addictions, trauma (EMDR- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, improving social skills, existential life issues and transitions. I have found that it is often a combination of forces within and without of ourselves that create our unique situations that we need help with. While I have many methods to facilitate processing (talking, art therapy, mindfulness, EMDR), I believe that you are the expert of your unique story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming the challenges of your life. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I commend you for your effort and I am here to support, empower and be a fellow traveler on your journey. "The most powerful thing in the world, is an idea whose time has come"- Victor Hugo

Hi, I'm Marjorie, an experienced clinical social worker, licensed in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My specialties include working with adults from varied backgrounds, identities, and cultures who suffer from symptoms of depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and/or mood disorders. There may be times in your life when you are struggling. Perhaps you are overwhelmed with anxiety or depression which is interfering with your day-to-day living and/or work. Perhaps you are experiencing unhappiness in important relationships, or you are resorting to unhealthy ways of coping such as self-isolation, disordered eating, self-harm activities, or other self-sabotaging behaviors. You may generally feel "less than," or feel as if you don't fit in, feel conflicted about your identity, feel debilitated by worry, fears or depressive symptoms, and/or may be suffering from loss of significant relationships. The "work" of therapy can offer relief from painful symptoms and conflicts while addressing your particular patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, particularly those that are holding you back from a more productive and fulfilling life. My goal is to listen and work with you to understand your unique experiences, identify patterns of underlying thoughts and feelings about yourself and others, examine how your past may have informed your present, and provide a safe space for you to explore yourself. Together we will identify those patterns that are not working for you to find strategies, personal to you, to overcome them. My therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic approaches and often include DBT practices such as mindfulness and guided meditation techniques.

My biggest passion has always been to help others, and I am so grateful I can achieve that as a therapist. Helping my clients identify struggles and find new skills for coping makes my work as a therapist very rewarding. I value service, holistic healing, spirituality and community in both my professional and personal life. As an animal lover, I spend much time with my fur babies Ayla, Lynx and Bandit, and my free time volunteering at a local animal shelter. I enjoy working out and prioritizing movement to keep myself energized and strong. I deeply enjoy quality time with my husband, our family and friends, as well as growing in my own faith and spirituality. I’m Dr. Amber Norwood and I'm a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. I’m glad you’re here. Making the decision to pursue a therapeutic relationship demonstrates an investment in your wellness and a willingness to do the work to get there. You have many responsibilities in life and likely wear many hats, so it’s important that therapy is accessible, effective, and meaningful. I work with clients through a teletherapy-only practice, which allows you to participate in our work together from any quiet, confidential space. I strive to create an affirming and safe space for individuals from all walks of life and happily welcome clients of all income levels, abilities, gender identities, faiths, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. In our work together, I will take the time to listen and get to know you, your history, your values, and your goals. My primary areas of clinical expertise and competence are in the treatment of adults across the lifespan with a focus on life transitions and self-compassion, anxiety, depression, anger management, health behavior change (e.g., substance use, weight, health management) and general health, such as coping with a new medical diagnosis, medical care giving, disease prevention, medical and psychiatric dual diagnoses, infertility, family planning, aging, illness anxiety, and navigating other health-related concerns. My specific treatment approaches typically draw from acceptance-based modalities such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and compassion-focused therapy (CFT). I also draw on traditional cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills where necessary. It has been my experience that therapy is most effective when the use of these specific approaches is tailored to each individual client’s goals and values. Each of these approaches is geared toward helping you to make clear, focused change toward a more connected, healthy way of living.

Nastassja Hanna is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and founder of Lumen Counseling, providing online therapy, virtual therapy, and telehealth counseling throughout Pennsylvania. She works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts, overthinking, perfectionism, trauma and PTSD, depression, BPD and emotional dysregulation, relationship problems, and life transitions. You may feel exhausted from constantly worrying, replaying conversations, second-guessing yourself, checking or seeking reassurance, trying to stay ahead of what could go wrong, or managing emotions that feel overwhelming. Maybe painful experiences continue to affect you, or you keep finding yourself in patterns you understand but cannot seem to change. Nastassja helps clients look beneath the symptoms to understand what may be keeping them stuck, develop practical tools, and make meaningful changes. Her approach is warm, analytical, compassionate, practical, and values-driven. She believes you are more than your struggles and seeks to understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, beliefs, values, and goals. Her work helps clients develop the tools to respond differently to life’s challenges and make choices aligned with what truly matters to them. I'm Ben Northrup, a licensed professional counselor with experience working with people with a wide range of mental health challenges. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for individuals with borderline personality disorder, psychosis treatment, helping family members of individuals with symptoms of psychosis, and support for anxiety and depression. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Lock Haven University and have worked in group homes, partial hospitalization programs, women’s centers, and community-based mental health clinics. These experiences have shaped my client-centered, practical, and empathetic approach to therapy. I tend to keep therapy pretty conversational and relaxed. I don't think therapy should feel like something you have to dread each week. Sometimes we'll have a serious emotional conversation, sometimes we'll problem solve, sometimes we'll laugh, and sometimes you might just need a place to let everything out. My goal is to make therapy a place where you can be yourself while we figure out the best way to help you reach your goals.

How much of your life is spent waiting to feel confident enough to live it? I’m Fred, a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults struggling with anxiety, addiction, relationship difficulties, and major life stress. My practice is direct, collaborative, and practical. I draw primarily from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches. A lot of people come to therapy believing they need more confidence, more clarity, or more certainty before they can move forward. Often, confidence is built differently: by learning to act, adapt, and make meaningful decisions even while doubt, anxiety, and difficult emotions are still present. Together, we’ll work on changing the patterns that keep you stuck and building the flexibility and confidence to move toward the life you want.

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy can be a big step, and finding the right therapist, someone you feel comfortable with and can trust, is an important part of that process. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I have 32 years of experience providing counseling. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, stressing that what we think determines what we feel and what we do. For many reasons, people learn unrealistic or destructive thoughts that cause them problems in their lives. Therapy works towards more realistic thinking, and avoiding old and destructive thinking. As I like to say, "therapy is a conversation with a destination," and realistic thinking is that destination. While I am a Christian, I am not trained as a Christian Counselor. I am a "Counselor who is a Christian." My training is secular, and I regularly see people or all faiths, or none at all. I do not offer court ordered services, nor do I do assessments for custody, or any other legal purpose. Unfortunately, I cannot accept Medicare, or Medicare based plans. The world is changing, and more and more people are reaching out. I am seeing more men that have been in abusive relationships. There are also more people dealing with loss. Coming to my office is not like going to a big mental health clinic where you just another number on a spreadsheet. In my care, you are a person, and you'll be treated like one.

You are exhausted from carrying everything on your own. Your mind never seems to slow down. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and worry about things that haven’t even happened yet. You spend so much time taking care of everyone else that you’re not sure when you stopped taking care of yourself. I help people understand what’s keeping them stuck and create a path toward healing. Using EMDR therapy, we work together to process difficult experiences, reduce the emotional weight of the past, and quiet the constant mental noise that keeps you feeling overwhelmed. Rather than talking about what happened, EMDR helps your brain reprocess experiences that may still be affecting how you think, feel, and respond today. Along the way, we’ll build practical tools, healthier boundaries, and greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Courtney Pfohlman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and a Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada who provides virtual therapy for adults. She is a Clinical Supervisor for student therapists in Nevada. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, and life transitions, incorporating EMDR therapy when appropriate. Over the past 12 years, she has gained extensive experience working within community mental health agencies serving individuals with co-occurring disorders, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs, and Drug Court-mandated counseling. She has also worked in private practice, conducting clinical assessments and determining client appropriateness for EMDR therapy.

Hi there! I’m Sarah :) Congratulations at taking the first step in reaching out to a counselor. I can understand how difficult it can be for some to make that decision. It can be hard to admit when someone feels like they need additional help in their lives to get things moving in a positive direction. It's important to recognize that this is not a flaw, and that teamwork is sometimes the best solution for an issue. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is very important and that you need to feel comfortable with someone to open up and trust. I would be honored to be a part of your journey to help you find your desired goals.

Hi there! I have been working in the mental health field since graduating with my Master’s in Counseling in 2015. I began my counseling career providing evidence-based family therapies for several years before transitioning to individual counseling. I take an eclectic approach to therapy because everyone is unique and deserves treatment that is tailored to their individual needs. I love connecting with my clients and helping them develop a more compassionate view of themselves, recognize their strengths, and build confidence in their ability to live the life they want. If you think we may be a good fit, I’d love for you to reach out so we can connect.

Hi, I’m Dr. Catherine T. Revak, DSW, LCSW—but please, call me Cate. My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t a traditional one, and each chapter of my life has shaped how I show up for clients today. I served in the United States Air Force and spent many years in the financial services industry, experiences that taught me how to navigate complexity, hold difficult conversations, and remain present during times of stress and uncertainty. Later, I returned to school at the University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies, and completed both my master’s and doctoral degrees in social work. My clinical training focused on veterans’ mental health, grief, loss, and bereavement. My time working at the VA and in hospice care deeply influenced my approach to therapy, reinforcing the importance of compassion, attunement, and the healing power of being truly witnessed. In therapy, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. I draw from psychodynamic, narrative, and trauma-informed approaches, but at the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself. Whether you are navigating grief, transition, or uncertainty, I walk alongside you as you find meaning, connection, and a way forward that honors your experience.

Hi, I'm Amber (she/her)! I have over 15 years of experience! I’m a therapist and clinical supervisor with extensive experience supporting individuals through substance use, mental health concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people from many different backgrounds, including individuals involved with the court system and LGBTQ+ individuals. These experiences have shaped my belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and supported without judgment. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, feminist, and social justice perspectives. Outside of my professional life, I’m a mom and a spouse, and much of my time is spent at home with my family. I understand that life can be messy, complicated, overwhelming, and sometimes beautiful all at the same time. I bring that same understanding and humanity into my work with clients.

I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I provide a collaborative space where we can explore life's challenges, and reconnect to a sense of purpose. I work with adults of all ages and have a special interest in supporting older adults, as well as people experiencing life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, or spiritual concerns. For clients who desire it, I integrate spirituality and the Christian faith into the therapeutic process in ways that are meaningful and respectful of each person's faith. In addition to being a therapist, I am also an ordained minister who works with people of various faiths. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am committed to providing an affirming environment for LGBTQ individuals. I recognize that navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and faith can be complex. I strive to create a space where every person feels respected, valued, and empowered to live authentically. My approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spirit. I use emotional freedom technique and mindfulness based therapy. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

Hello! I appreciate that you’re taking this step toward finding a therapist you feel will be a good fit for you. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 13 years of experience. For most of this time I have worked with people around issues of depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and relationship/family issues. I am also passionate about working with LGBTQ folks around issues of coming out and self-acceptance. I know that the decision to look for a therapist isn’t always an easy one but, by doing so, you are taking an important first step toward creating change for yourself! I take a down-to-earth, supportive, conversational approach to therapy. I engage in discussion and don’t hesitate to share my own life experience when appropriate. I find that a more personal approach helps strengthen the relationship between me and the people I meet with which, in turn, will help you feel more comfortable being open in sessions. I take this approach because therapy is most successful when a person feels like their therapist understands them and when there is some level of connection. I focus on ensuring you will feel both seen and heard starting with our first session. You will be approached by me with curiosity, interest, and care at all times. At the start of your sessions with me I will ask how you’d like to start that day’s conversation and, if you’re not sure, will support you in discovering what might be important for you to talk about in the moment. I invite you to schedule a first session to see if I am a good fit for what you’re looking for in therapy!

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I really enjoy helping people navigate the challenges of changing and maintaining roles in life---exploring young adulthood, finding and maintaining your own identity as a parent, how to create a life worth living in whatever stage you are in. I feel like I am very open, non judgmental, eager to learn, empathetic and understanding. And funny! I am a gender affirming therapist. I am an ally in the LGB and TNC Communities, always keeping my eyes and ears open to find ways to improve my allyship. The current political climate is traumatic and oppressive to members of these Communities as well as many other Communities that are typically considered marginalized. I want to create space in session to discuss how that may be affecting you or retraumatizing you. I am very comfortable with working with those who use self harm as a coping mechanism--there is no shame or expectation you must stop when you engage in therapy. I'm fine with talking about suicide, whether it's your own personal experience of trying to find a life worth living, your experience of supporting someone who lives with suicide in their life, or grief around experiences of suicide. I do not believe inpatient hospitalization is an effective treatment for those experiencing suicide and do everything I can as a therapist to keep people out of the hospital when in suicidal crisis. I do believe therapy is political. I am social justice focused, continuing to do my own anti-racism work. I believe in Health at Every Size. I believe that our environment and what we experience in life has a profound affect on us and must be discussed in therapy.
