Hi there! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University. I have been practicing for about 3.5 years now, but have worked in the mental health field for 7 years. I will support you in developing skills and different ways of thinking that you can use to navigate through daily life challenges and experiences you may encounter.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our sessions together, you will be able to have a safe and non-judgmental space to discuss what is and/or has been troubling you. I am an active listener. We will discuss your goals and develop a treatment plan for achieving them. I will support you along the way, as well as conduct check-ins to ensure you are getting the support and tools you need. We can always change your treatment plan along the way if need be. I will be there for you to help you through your journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I value unconditional acceptance, and provide a nurturing environment. Therapy is dynamic, and I will adjust my approach to best support your growth and healing. My hope is to make each and every session valuable and proactive. I’m here for you every step of the way.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Together we can break down specific challenges, thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and actions to develop treatment goals to work towards obtaining a healthy outcome and lifestyle. Using this approach can help support understanding, addressing and changing negative thought patterns, and implementing positive behavioral changes. CBT is a goal oriented approach to improve overall well-being.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Using DBT will allow us to work together focusing on building a tool kit to achieve your treatment goals. DBT encompasses mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Strength-Based

Every individual has strengths, even when we often think we do not. Together we can explore your strengths, and learn how to incorporate them into your daily lifestyle to help reach your treatment goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

We all experience challenges from time to time, and are unsure of how to approach in handling the situation. Together we will dissect every aspect of a situation to help you identify and implement a plan to help you function better. In sessions using this approach, you will be able to obtain a better understanding along with the comfortability to tackle any challenging situation.
