New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing compassionate, client-centered therapy for adults, couples, and families. I offer telehealth sessions in a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and safe to explore their concerns. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also support clients dealing with stress, emotional overwhelm, and self-esteem challenges. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s needs. I focus on helping clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and strengthen relationships so they can feel more balanced, grounded, and in control of their lives. I believe therapy should feel safe, empowering, and supportive as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.
In our first session, we will take time to talk about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to work on. I will ask some gentle questions to better understand your background and current concerns, but you are always encouraged to share at a pace that feels comfortable for you. It is completely normal to feel nervous in the beginning. This is a supportive, non-judgmental space where you will be heard and respected. Together, we will begin identifying your goals for therapy and explore what kind of support would be most helpful for you. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of the therapy process and how we will work together moving forward.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and respected. I believe healing begins when people feel emotionally safe and accepted. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage difficult emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build practical coping skills they can use in everyday life. My focus is not only on symptom relief, but also on helping clients gain insight, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful, lasting changes in their relationships, self-confidence, and overall well-being.
I work best with adults, couples, and families who are experiencing relationship challenges, communication difficulties, emotional stress, or life transitions. I support individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or difficulty managing emotions and want to develop healthier coping strategies. I also work with couples who are facing communication breakdowns, conflict, trust issues, or emotional disconnection, and who want to rebuild understanding and strengthen their relationship. In family therapy, I help families improve communication, resolve conflict, and create a more supportive and balanced home environment. My ideal clients are motivated to explore patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships and are open to learning practical skills for change. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to work toward healthier relationships and emotional well-being.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
I use an integrative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to support each client’s unique needs. With CBT, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical coping strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and stress. This approach is structured and goal-oriented, focusing on building skills that clients can apply in their daily lives. I incorporate DBT techniques such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients better manage intense emotions and improve relationships. In addition, I use a psychodynamic approach to explore deeper patterns, past experiences, and unconscious processes that may be influencing current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This helps clients gain insight and create meaningful, long-term change. I tailor these approaches based on each client’s goals, creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. I have experience applying CBT to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to recognize unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns and replace them with more balanced and realistic thoughts. In my practice, I use CBT in a structured and goal-oriented way, focusing on current challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I also incorporate practical coping strategies, behavioral activation, and skills-building exercises that clients can apply in their daily lives. My approach is supportive and client-centered, and I tailor CBT techniques based on each client’s needs and goals to help them build insight, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful change.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques in my clinical practice to support clients who struggle with emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal difficulties. I incorporate DBT skills in a practical and structured way to help clients build emotional resilience and improve coping abilities. In my practice, I use core DBT components such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I help clients become more aware of their emotions in the present moment, learn healthier ways to manage intense feelings, and develop more effective communication and relationship skills. My approach is supportive and collaborative, and I tailor DBT strategies based on each client’s needs and readiness for change. I focus on helping clients build real-life skills they can use outside of sessions to improve stability, reduce distress, and enhance overall well-being.
Couples Counseling
I have experience providing couples counseling to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional connection. In my practice, I work with couples to identify interaction patterns that may be contributing to misunderstandings or distress in the relationship. I use a supportive and structured approach to help both partners feel heard and understood in a safe, neutral space. I focus on improving communication skills, increasing emotional awareness, and helping couples develop healthier ways of expressing needs and resolving conflict. I also help couples identify underlying emotional dynamics that may be impacting the relationship and guide them in rebuilding trust, improving connection, and working toward shared goals. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each couple’s unique situation and needs.
Family Therapy
I have experience providing family therapy to support families in improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening overall relationships. In my practice, I work with families to understand interaction patterns and dynamics that may be contributing to stress, misunderstandings, or emotional distress within the family system. I use a collaborative and systems-based approach, helping each family member feel heard and respected in a safe and structured environment. My focus is on improving communication, increasing empathy between family members, and developing healthier ways of responding to conflict. I also support families in identifying shared goals and building practical strategies to improve functioning at home. My approach is tailored to each family’s unique needs, with the goal of promoting stronger relationships, emotional connection, and long-term stability.
