Are you struggling with balancing day to day life? Do you constantly worry, or have a difficult time managing your feelings? I have been there, and it can be a very lonely feeling. I want to help you. I have a passion for helping others who experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and difficulty with healthy relationships. I also have experience in providing support when someone is experiencing trauma, grief and loss. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters degree from Kutztown University and have been practicing for over 10 years. I look forward to meeting you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I might also ask you some questions about your social and family relationships. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with many different people who have faced different challenges, I have been able to demonstrate progress with my clients by breaking down scenarios, situations and thought processes. I feel a strength of mine is being able to develop strong therapeutic rapport, providing attentive listening, empathy and a non-judgmental space which makes my clients feel comfortable in sharing whatever is on their mind.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I like to use Person-Centered therapy to allow the client to feel understood and supported. I use an empathetic understanding to learn more about you, your experiences in life, beliefs and values of yourself and others. This will help gain insight into yourself and your perception of life while gaining healthier communication skills, healthier relationships and improved self-awareness. I provide a safe space for my clients to be able to express themselves without worrying about judgement.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT techniques to help my clients understand the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and reactions. I work with my clients to identify learned patterns of unhelpful thinking, identify negative thinking patterns, and develop coping skills by processing situations that are causing distress.
