I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the State of Ohio who has over 20 years of experience treating a variety of mental health conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, children, families, and couples. I have a special heart for adults who have already been diagnosed with ADHD or suspect they may have it, as I myself was diagnosed with it as an adult. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities in session such as CBT, DBT, and person centered/eclectic approaches. Additionally, I am a Christian and use this belief system in the therapy session for those who desire it, while also respecting people who believe differently. I have worked extensively with people who have undergone trauma in their lives, as well as people who are grieving and questioning things spiritually. Essentially, we all have the same needs, and often the similar wounds. I will meet you where you are and walk with you on the path to healing.

Hey, I'm Robyn. I've been a therapist for over 15 years, and one thing I've learned is that life can be complicated. Sometimes you know exactly what the problem is and just don't know what to do about it. Other times, you just know you're tired of feeling the way you feel. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult relationships, narcissistic abuses and concerns around gender identity. I am a down-to-earth therapist. You don't have to come in knowing what to say or having everything figured out. We'll start where you are and go from there.

With over 30 years of experience in the mental health and addiction fields, I provide a seasoned, practical perspective for adults navigating complex trauma, sudden loss, and emotional dysregulation. My approachable style is designed to lower anxiety and remove the mystery from therapy. Moving beyond mere symptom management toward true integration, I utilize evidence-based tools like EMDR, IFS (Parts Work), and DBT to help you process difficult life transitions and build lasting resilience. Specialized First Responder & Public Safety Care: As an independently licensed LPCC with specialized training in First Responder Peer Support, I understand the unique organizational culture, rotating shift demands, and intense privacy concerns of law enforcement, fire, EMS, and emergency personnel. Rather than utilizing open-ended talk therapy, I offer a structured, neurobiologically grounded approach to treating cumulative occupational trauma, hyper-vigilance, and burnout. We work to safely manage and resolve the stress of the job without requiring you to endlessly over-verbalize old calls, maintaining absolute discretion and flexible scheduling tailored to public safety professionals.

Being a therapist isn't just my career—it's a dream I worked hard to achieve because I know what it's like to walk through difficult seasons and wonder if things will ever feel different. My experiences taught me that healing is possible, and they shaped the kind of therapist I strive to be: the therapist I wish I had when I needed one most. I believe every person has inherent worth, even when life has convinced them otherwise. Your past may explain where you've been, but it doesn't have to define where you're going. Healing and forgiveness can coexist, and growth is possible without pretending the pain never happened. My role isn't to tell you who you should be—it's to help you rediscover who you are beneath the anxiety, trauma, self-doubt, or life circumstances that have made you question yourself. I'll meet you with honesty, compassion, and a little humor along the way because I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to be fully human. I believe the only way to truly fail at becoming the person you were meant to be is to stop trying. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning after a difficult experience, my hope is that you leave each session feeling seen, supported, and more hopeful than when you walked in. I'm Sarah, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with specialized training in EMDR, perinatal mental health, Gottman couples therapy, infant mental health, and early childhood mental health. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and hopeful—a place where you feel like you. Outside of the office, I'm a busy mother of two and fantasy author who loves baking and cooking!

I’m M. Brandon Blue, MA, LPCC, NCC, and I work with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about who they are becoming. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and honest. I help people slow down enough to understand the stories, beliefs, emotions, and relationship patterns that are shaping their lives. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relational conflict, spiritual concerns, identity questions, or major life transitions. I do not believe therapy is only about reducing symptoms, although that matters. I also believe therapy is about helping people live with more clarity, agency, emotional honesty, and alignment. In our work together, we may explore what you have been carrying, what you have been avoiding, what matters most to you, and what kind of life you want to move toward. I bring a balance of compassion and directness, creating space for you to feel understood while also helping you notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Change is hard, but when it’s needed, you feel it. Marital strain, career dissatisfaction, or lingering pain from the past can leave you feeling stuck, even when you know something has to shift. Taking those first steps toward change can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy offers a safe, supportive space to gain clarity, process emotions, and reconnect with your sense of purpose. Healing becomes possible when you have an empathetic and attuned witness to your story; someone who helps you uncover insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and find new ways forward. I’ve worked in a variety of settings as a counselor, educator, and clinical supervisor, and I’m passionate about helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My approach is collaborative, emotioanlly-focused, practical, and rooted in respect for each person’s unique journey. If you’re ready to do the inner work; to feel more grounded, balanced, connected, and fulfilled- therapy can help you get there. Prioritize yourself. This is your moment for growth.

I go by Becky and have been working with children and families since 2004. I have provided many different kinds of case management and therapeutic services in my social work career. I believe that wellness includes many factors of a person's life--mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Some of those things in your life might be in balance while other areas are not. You probably already have the ability to manage many situation or challenges with a combination of existing strengths and learned skills; we can add to those together. My enjoy using play therapy. Through play child, families, and (yes!) adults can work through many issues in their lives. The best part is all the hard work doesn't feel like work. We learn skills by playing throughout our entire lives beginning with playing peek-a-boo; on the grade school play ground; sports and backyard games; as well as board games and card games with friends. If playing isn't for you, I also provide the traditional "talk therapy" that most people are familiar. I received a specialization in Military Social Work during my master’s program at USC and have a passion for working with those, both children and adults, who have experienced trauma. Trauma can show up in a lot of different ways and look like many things. In counseling, we can use a combination of CBT, solution focused, and problem-solving therapy, along with Motivational Interviewing, trauma therapies, and Play Therapy when appropriate. Your plan, developed in your words, will be a great road map for reaching your desired destination. I would be honored to walk with you along that path. Seeking help reflects the courage and drive that you already have within you.

I value the individual and the couple regardless of age or philosophical approach to their life or relationship. I see my goal of treatment as improving the individual or couple to be the best they want to be. My communication tone or approach tends to be direct but laid back. I am a blessed mom of 2 boys, with a loving spouse that supports me, and a world where I get to work with people that want support in their lives. Even with the life I live, there are many challenges that we have to navigate. I have 2 years of experience providing mental health services to the youth of today and because of my personal experinces, I have been able to connect with them and help them grow. All I can ask from my clients is to give me a chance to work with you as you navigate life challenges to find a life that's blessed. Therapy is something that has a flow. I may have an idea in mind for what to talk about, but your daily input is more important. Together we will flow through your emotions while facing opportunities to challenge the way you think and guide you to new possibilities; while managing heightened emotions. I use techniques from art therapy, narrative therapy, strength based and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) as a way to have all the tools in my toolbox that we may need.

I then wanted to expand my skill set and pursued a position providing therapy to health care employees as an EAP counselor at a local hospital system. I found that I really love the opportunity to get to know my clients and to walk alongside them on their journey.

Hi there! I’m Donnah, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor and the owner of Phoenix RISE KY LLC. I work with a diverse range of clients and have extensive experience supporting people through trauma, grief, major life transitions, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, and other challenging life experiences. Much of my work centers on trauma and the ways past experiences can continue to affect emotions, relationships, self-perception, and everyday functioning. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can make sense of what you have experienced, develop practical tools for coping, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy should reflect the person in front of me rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can identify patterns, build on your strengths, develop healthier ways of responding to stress, and work toward greater stability, connection, and confidence. I also have a special appreciation for adolescents and young adults navigating the transition into adulthood, including school or career pressures, family and relationship challenges, emotional regulation concerns, and emerging mental health needs. Through Phoenix RISE, my goal is to help people reflect on their experiences, recognize their strengths, feel supported through difficult seasons, and become more empowered in their lives.

My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. My role is to empower you on this journey of self-actualization. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a solution-oriented approach. We will be working side by side to identify your goals, values, and strengths. From there, we will process past experiences to help you move on to becoming your best self. I have been helping clients achieve their goals for the past several years. These clients range from the age of one-year-old to over fifty-years-old. About 60% of my clients are 12 and under. In working with younger children, I have had the most success using telehealth when parents are present to monitor, arrange a predictable environment, and assist with any technical issues. In working with younger children, the parents’ role is vital. I work as a team with parents and caregivers to build a healthy relationship and find the appropriate strengths-based parenting strategies for the child. Recommended parenting techniques are largely based on the Conscious Discipline model which encourages mindful parenting. With younger children, the parents’ cooperation is imperative to reach desired behavioral goals. I also draw from the approaches outlined in Working with Challenging Youth by Brent Richardson, Ed.D.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. Hi, I’m Shannon, and I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the start. I work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what’s next in their lives. Many individuals come to me for support with anxiety, depression, and life transitions, whether that’s navigating changes in relationships, career paths, identity, or overall direction. I also support children with challenges related to school, self-esteem, ADHD, and anxiety, helping them build confidence, coping skills, and emotional awareness in a supportive and age-appropriate way. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back and develop tools you can use in your everyday life to manage stress, build confidence, and move forward with intention. I believe therapy should not only help you feel better, but also give you skills that last beyond our sessions. Whether you’re working through a difficult period or simply looking for more direction and clarity, I’m here to support you in a way that feels approachable, grounded, and tailored to your needs. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to help.

I’m Niamalika Taylor, a Licensed Independent Social Worker inspired by helping individuals recognize the strength and possibilities within themselves. I understand and value how important it is for people to feel heard, seen, and understood as we navigate this journey called life. I believe you have the right to make choices that support your happiness, peace, and the life you desire. I’m committed to helping you better understand your emotions, recognize your strengths, strengthen your voice, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and intention. What inspires me most is helping individuals recognize that meaningful change can happen step by step, thought by thought, and choice by choice. I want therapy to be more than a place to talk. I want you to leave with tools you can carry throughout life as you continue to create and recreate what happiness, peace, and being able to say “I am okay” mean to you.

Hi, I'm Jen, a Licensed Independent Social Worker and much of my career has been spent supporting individuals and families through some of life's most difficult moments. My professional experience spans outpatient and inpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, emergency medicine, and child welfare. These experiences have shaped the clinician I am today. They have taught me that people are far more than the hardest thing that has ever happened to them; and that healing rarely follows a straight line. The Person Behind the Therapist: I am LatinX and the daughter of a first-generation immigrant. My culture, family, and experiences have shaped how I see the world and understand the importance of connection, community, and belonging. As a social worker, I also believe that mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum. Our relationships, culture, identity, communities, access to resources, and experiences with larger systems can all affect our well-being. I am passionate about racial, social, and economic justice, and I bring that social-work lens into my practice. I am also proud to be an LGBTQIA+ ally and am committed to creating an affirming environment where people can feel respected and safe being themselves. You don't have to leave parts of yourself at the door when you come to therapy. What I Want You to Know: You don't need the right words. You don't have to know exactly where to begin. My role isn't to tell you who you should be or what your life should look like. My role is to listen, help you make sense of what you're experiencing, and walk alongside you as you work toward where you want to go. You simply have to take the first step. From there, we can begin together.

Hi, I’m Kelly. I’ve been working in mental health for over ten years, and one thing I’ve learned is that you don’t need another person talking at you like a doctor, teacher, or expert who has your life all figured out. You need someone who can meet you where you are, understand what you’re going through, and help you figure out where you want to go from there. I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and personality disorders, with a particular interest in Borderline Personality Disorder. I’m trained in TF-CBT, DBT, and Somatic Experiencing, and I’m IFS-informed. I draw from these approaches based on what actually makes sense for you rather than forcing everyone into the same treatment model. My style is warm, direct, conversational, and human. I take the clinical side of therapy seriously, but I don’t want therapy to feel clinical. I want you to feel like you’re talking to a real person who happens to know a lot about mental health. I’m unapologetically anti-racist and deeply committed to supporting Black and Brown communities. I have extensive experience working with these communities and believe that race, culture, identity, and lived experience belong in the therapy room. I also recognize that racism, white supremacy, homophobia, transphobia, economic inequality, and immigration policy can have very real effects on our mental health. I’m gay myself and genuinely enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients. Whether you’re navigating identity, relationships, family, minority stress, or just want a therapist who gets some of the context you’re coming from, you’re welcome here. Most importantly, you don’t have to show up as a “better” version of yourself. Bring the messy parts. We’ll start there.

I have worked with a variety of clients in different settings over my career. I listen with compassion and understanding. I do not judge and encourage clients to make the best decisions for themselves and not what they think others expect. I work really hard to establish trust and and am firm on maintaining confidentiality. I provide a safe space for people to be their authentic selves. I am always honored when clients allow me to be a part of their journey.
