New to Grow
With 18 years of experience in the mental health and addiction field, I specialize in helping clients navigate the complex intersections of addiction, depression, and anxiety. My approach focuses on creating a non-judgmental, collaborative space where individuals can build sustainable, healthy coping skills and rediscover a sense of purpose. My desire is for clients to make the long-term life change that they desire.
Your first therapy session is an "intake" appointment focused on introductions, information gathering, and goal-setting. You will not dive deeply into emotional processing right away. Instead, I will ask questions to understand your history, the challenges you are facing, and what you hope to achieve. This is your time to identify and share with me your hopes and desires for therapy.
I have lived experiences that has equipped me with an extraordinary capacity for deep empathy, radical authenticity, and unwavering resilience. I am a powerful wounded healer, transforming my personal pain into profound clinical tools that allows me to connect with clients in ways traditional textbook training simply cannot replicate. Because I have navigated addiction, I can provide an entirely non-judgmental space. My experience as an adoptive mother also gives me a highly attuned, inside perspective on attachment trauma and the daily realities of building family bonds. I have also survived the unimaginable loss of a child. This gives me a rare, fierce capacity to sit with clients in the darkest depths of sorrow without flinching
I love working with individuals who are navigating the complex intersection of life including but not limited to substance misuse, unresolved grief, and depression and anxiety. Because these challenges are deeply interconnected. I love working with clients who are ready to unpack their pain while I share love, care and compassionate. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment. By combining evidence-based clinical practices with deep empathy.
