Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the initial one to two sessions, therapeutic needs will be assessed. Through this process I will be able to provide preliminary impressions regarding the focus of therapy and a proposed treatment plan. You will be encouraged to consider this information alongside your own assessment of the therapeutic fit. Sessions typically last 50 to 60 minutes and are scheduled weekly or biweekly at a mutually agreed-upon time; however, some sessions may be extended or occur more frequently.

I provide a direct approach to the therapy session. I am honest and genuine with practice ethics that match.

Existential

The universal pursuit of meaning involves addressing three fundamental questions: Who am I? What am I? and Why am I? The existential approach facilitates this exploration while assisting individuals in navigating obstacles that may impede progress and generate existential anxiety.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a pragmatic, goal-oriented form of psychotherapy designed to help individuals identify and modify maladaptive thoughts and behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a structured psychotherapeutic modality designed to facilitate emotional regulation, mitigate self-injurious behaviors, and promote a meaningful quality of life.
