Hi, I'm Mary Kastner, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 40 years of experience helping children, adults, and families navigate life's challenges. I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore concerns, build confidence, and develop practical tools for lasting change. My approach is personalized to each individual and focuses on helping clients recognize their strengths, heal from difficult experiences, and move toward the life they want to create.
Do you feel like you're running at full capacity with no room left to breathe? On the surface, you have it all together: the high-performing professional, the dependable parent, the supportive partner. Underneath, it's different. Anxiety that won't quiet. Depression creeping in. Burnout from roles that never let you clock out. Often it's all of them at once, tangled together until they blur.
I bring an engineer's mindset to therapy. My background in Mechanical Engineering shaped how I see problems, not as isolated issues but as complex systems needing recalibration. Most high-achievers I work with are tired of surface-level talk therapy; they want results. Together, we analyze what's actually breaking down, whether it's depression, anxiety, career burnout, or family dynamics. We build a concrete evidence-based plan using tools such as DBT and EMDR to process trauma and tackle performance issues. For over a decade, I've guided clients through major life transitions, for example career pivots, new parenthood, and loss, toward lives rooted in purpose and sustainable well-being.
I am a licensed independent social worker, LISW. I have been practicing in the social work field for over 20 years. I have worked with many populations including, children, adults and older adults. Hello. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Ohio. I received my Masters from the University of Toledo and have been practicing for 14 years. I find that having clarity is vital to making changes in our lives. Why we do the things we do, often not even being aware of why we do them. Gaining insight into how our thoughts are impacting our behaviors is crucial to change. Changing the way we interact with others can greatly impact our daily functioning, reduce our stress, and improve our relationships with the people in our lives. Making these changes increases the potential for a more joyful life.
We all have things that we may struggle with from time to time, and it is important to find a professional that you can relate to when you need help. I enjoy helping people work through the difficulties of life, with a warm and non-judgmental attitude. My approach to therapy is laid-back and down to earth. Your sessions with me will very much be directed by you. Whatever brings you to therapy, know that it is my goal to partner with you and support you as you work toward healing, growth and wellness to sustain a healthy life with meaning and purpose.

It is my goal to make my clients feel comfortable and safe because this is where you are going to get the most change and progress. Coming to counseling is a very personal step. I am a licensed clinical social worker, advocate, mother, runner, and yoga enthusiast. I believe that everyone would benefit from talk therapy because life is challenging, complicated, and busy. I fully understand that getting ourselves to therapy is, at times, not easy and sincerely appreciate every client that intentionally decides that they are ready to grow, heal, and evolve. I believe in the power of becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable so as to push ourselves to step outside of our comfort zones.
I have 10 years of experience as an Ohio clinical counselor: working with all ages, diverse backgrounds, and various therapeutic settings. I believe in a mind, body, spirit connection and empower clients to build a more balanced lifestyle.
I am a clinical social worker with a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through life's most pressing challenges. Before transitioning into clinical practice, I worked within organizations helping employees navigate workplace stress and the broader life issues that often accompany it. I bring a compassionate, integrative, and culturally responsive approach that meets each client where they are, helping you build meaningful coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and move toward sustainable change.
Hi there! As a mom and someone who has personally healed through Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic, and attachment-based work, I understand how past experiences can show up in relationships and parenting. If you’ve tried therapy before and are ready for deeper work, I can help you move past patterns that logic alone hasn’t solved. Together, we’ll use inner child work, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed approaches to help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in yourself and your relationships.

I am Dr. Shazia Naurin, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor based in Ohio, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and cultural sensitivity. I hold national certification as a counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), and trained in Internal Family System (IFS) enabling me to support clients working through trauma, emotional dysregulation, and deeply rooted patterns. My approach is grounded in authenticity, empowerment, and a deep commitment to helping clients build resilience, heal, and thrive.
I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, safe, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through connection.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the emotional weight of caregiving, relationships, and work stress. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward — and together we create space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and build tools that actually fit your life.
Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, deepen self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentic. I strive to create a space that is nonjudgmental, affirming, and supportive of your unique story
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you may be wondering what our work together would actually look like. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, build practical skills, and work toward a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a primary approach. DBT is a skills-based, evidence-informed therapy that can help with managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating difficult situations, and responding to yourself and others with greater awareness and effectiveness.
Depending on your goals, we may focus on any or all of the following:
• Managing strong or overwhelming emotions
• Building healthier relationships and boundaries
• Increasing mindfulness and self-awareness
• Tolerating distress without making situations worse
• Strengthening self-compassion
• Building a life aligned with your values
Therapy works best when we approach it as a team. I’ll bring clinical knowledge, structure, support, and honest feedback; you bring your experiences, goals, questions, and willingness to practice new approaches. You can expect me to encourage and challenge you, when appropriate, and help you make sense of what you are experiencing. There may be times when therapy feels rough, particularly when we are looking at patterns you have used for a long time. We'll work through those moments together rather than expecting you to navigate them alone.
You will also have opportunities to practice skills between sessions. The goal isn't just talking about what is happening in your life—it's to help you develop tools you can use in your life.
The hope is over time, you leave therapy with a greater understanding of yourself, confidence in your ability to handle difficulties, and a sense that you can build a life worth living.

My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. My role is to empower you on this journey of self-actualization. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a solution-oriented approach. We will be working side by side to identify your goals, values, and strengths. From there, we will process past experiences to help you move on to becoming your best self. I have been helping clients achieve their goals for the past several years. These clients range from the age of one-year-old to over fifty-years-old. About 60% of my clients are 12 and under. In working with younger children, I have had the most success using telehealth when parents are present to monitor, arrange a predictable environment, and assist with any technical issues. In working with younger children, the parents’ role is vital. I work as a team with parents and caregivers to build a healthy relationship and find the appropriate strengths-based parenting strategies for the child. Recommended parenting techniques are largely based on the Conscious Discipline model which encourages mindful parenting. With younger children, the parents’ cooperation is imperative to reach desired behavioral goals. I also draw from the approaches outlined in Working with Challenging Youth by Brent Richardson, Ed.D.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will.
From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas?
The duality of life.
Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress.
My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.
I am a compassionate and culturally sensitive therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s emotional, relational, and personal challenges. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision (LISW-S) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC), I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, respected, and empowered.
My approach combines evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) with genuine empathy, practical support, and a deep understanding of resilience and healing.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and substance use concerns. I also value the importance of cultural identity, faith, and lived experiences in the healing process and offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into therapy.
My goal is to help clients develop healthier coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Being on my own life journey, it is easy to resonate with your struggles and appreciate your reaching out. Fear, doubt, and anxiety/depression are often apart of this life and it is important to connect with others in order to address them when they become stuck places. Then, they become the fuel for your better way forward. This has been true for me having experienced mental illness within my family growing up and therefore I feel confident that I can help you with your unique self and life.
My name is Sara Davis and I am a clinical counselor (LPCC) licensed in Ohio, Minnesota, and Oregon with over 15 years of professional work experience ranging from community, hospital, court, residential, and private practice work with adults, teens, and families. I am currently only offering therapy via telehealth and have a curious little corgi you may meet along the way.
